A new round of The Boutique brought to you by The Liaison Collaborative started this morning and this round’s theme is fresh. Baiastice released some lovely mix and match skirts. There are eight skirt and twelve top textures, for endless numbers of color combinations. Noodles is also a part of this round of The Boutique, bringing us this cute lotus hair clip and necklace.

In other big news Truth finally has a new release, bringing us six brand new hairs. This release brings us all new textures and a new build. You can be a part of the Truth Hair Model search by submitting your photo this Flickr group and following the submission terms. Ten winners will be chosen for the first round, receiving a $L2500 gift card and their picture in the store.

I’ve been really uninspired lately with the way my mood has been so doing challenges and meme’s has been a great way to stay on track. Today I’ll be doing another one of Strawberry’s meme’s, this time about my three SL wishes. This took some time to think about so bare with me as I talk about them. I’m not always great with words.

1. I wish people were more accepting about SL. I have never made it a secret that I play SL. When I first signed up and was in college I gave everyone a tour. When I came back last year I had a discussion about it with my parents and showed my step father around. I took him to Ambrosia and he was like “Who is that hot blonde with the legs?” Um, dad, that’s me. I have even shown my employers my blog pictures and my home plot. With that all being said, my college friends and employers thought it was cool and thought it looked like a lot of fun. My parents, not so much. They think I’m wasting my time in a virtual world and that the people on other avatars shouldn’t mean anything to me.

So I’m way behind on  Disney Bound so I’ll be spending some time catching up. I left off at Kuzco of The Emperor’s New Groove. I have to admit, I’ve only seen this movie once so I had to google to refresh my memory. The hardest thing about this photo was finding a place to shoot it. I couldn’t find a great Peruvian or Incan place in SL until I came across one of the latest Mad Pea installations called The Lost Treasure of the Inca Warrior. Now since I was just looking for a background for a the shoot I didn’t play the game but it looked like fun! The HUD to get you started is 100L$s and it’s a point and click adventure. Once you find everything you are looking for you are rewarded with 15 high quality prizes. You can read more about it here. Anyways, I’ve rambled enough for one night so here is my take on Kuzco.

So I have really been enjoying Strawberry Singh’s meme’s. It gives me a direction to talk about something different. I’m not always sure what to talk about in a fashion post and sometimes I have things I want to say that are probably better left unsaid. I don’t do all of them but instead pick and choose the ones I like, when I have the time. Today I will be doing her why do I blog meme. It’s a question I’m sure every blogger gets asked and now all my readers will get to know about it. (And no I don’t really think Berry is that nosey, she’s doing a wonderful thing with these meme’s)

So I’m starting to get back to my normal self and had the urge to blog again. Hopefully it sticks and my mood continues to get better. Anyways one of the greatest things about this round of FaMESHed is that Maxi Gossamer made a tiara with matching earrings. Every girl needs a tiara and you can’t help but feel like a princess when you put one on, like you did when you were little. Oh wait, I still do. What else does every little girl dream of being at some point? A ballerina of course! And that was the first thought that came to mind when wearing this top from e!. It has that casual wrap feel that one would wear to ballet practice. So from the standpoint of my inner child, there isn’t anything better than a princess ballerina!

This is so beyond outside my typical post, it’s not about fashion or furniture or hair. It’s not a meme or a challenge, it’s just me expressing my emotions in picture form. It’s been a rough week, cranky twins and dealing with family. But to top it all off I broke ties with my closest friend in SL for personal reasons that some people know the background story to. I did what I thought was best for me and for her, something that has broken my heart beyond words. People say this is just a game, don’t take things too seriously, but the relationships I form in here are very real. There are people behind the avatars and they matter to me. I’m one of those people who is loyal to a fault and will stick with a friendship until I’m the only one giving anymore. But this time it got to a point that I had to let go and move on. These past few days I’ve been crying on and off and sleeping a lot. The pain is indescribable and I’m sure some of you are thinking get over it already, who the hell cares. But I need time and I maybe some outside support.This whole thing is certainly doing a number on my panic disorder and depression.» View author and full post…

Can you believe that a year ago this month was the very first round of FaMESHed? Part of me can’t believe it’s been a year while the other part feels like it’s been going on forever. Over 50 designers have been invited back to help the event celebrate turning one and they have gone all out. I was truly impressed with every designers hard work. Zaara released this great chaitra chiffon dress and I of course chose the flowery pink one to wear.
