Take Me There

I don’t usually log on weekends but I had some time today and I decided to play with this pic that I’d procrastinated from blogging during the week.

I love this new skirt from Baiastice that was released for The Boutique. It comes in lots of different prints and colours, mostly floral which are fab for spring and also this brown suede effect, as well as a teal version. The suede texture is really detailed and it was so easy to build a look around this skirt.

The shirt and waistcoat are both recent releases from Ison and are easy enough to layer so long as you wear a bigger size waistcoat over the shirt (I’m wearing the M waistcoat and S shirt). The shirt also comes with a colour change HUD so you can get 3 colours for the price of one, which makes it an easy and staple purchase.

I love this hair that LOQ released last week and I’ve been wearing it for days. You can find it at The Dressing Room Fusion, although it is not discounted, but it’s a really relaxed style that is simple to dress up or down.

No Vacancy

I had a little lol moment to myself earlier today when I was working on this pic, just because it’s such a huge contrast compared to the one I made yesterday. And ok, it’s not my normal style but it’s fun to dress up when something like World Goth Fair hits the grid!

The skin I’m wearing is new Jalwa and can be found at the Goth Fair, along with the eyeshadow layer. It comes in the usual tones but also includes a vamp and goth shade (I’m wearing goth) which are just perfect for that dark look. Also includes hands and feet appliers for the SLink attachments!

The top I’m wearing is new from Baiastice and can be found at The Boutique. It comes in lots of different summery colours as well but of course I’m wearing black for this style. It’s a halter neck with ties at the back and I might have to blog it again at some point to show that off because it’s really very striking. The bangles I’m wearing I picked up at Teefy last week for Fifty Linden Friday, but they’re usually still in store now, just a bit higher in price.

The head piece is something I picked up by Glam Affair at The Dressing Room forever ago, seriously about a year ago, but just hadn’t had a chance to wear yet.» View author and full post…

Pin Up

There have been so many great new releases the last few days it was hard for me to know where to start. So I mixed a bunch of things up for this post!

First of all these new jeans were released by Tulip. There’s two versions, your regular blue and grey shades as well as coloured versions. I’m wearing the blush shade here and I love them! They’re a great staple item for your SL wardrobe.

The Liason Collaborative started a new round of The Boutique today and I can’t tell you how beyond excited I was to see these Spring Fling sandals from LVLE. They come in several summery shades and are made to fit with the SLink bare mesh feet. I love that more creators are starting to make shoes around them and I hope that it opens up the market to other designers who might have great shoe ideas but don’t want the hassle of making the feet too. Especially now that we have the appliers for the SLink feet, just adding a pair of shoes over them is the perfect solution to all my skin matching woes! Isis

I wore part of this jewellery set yesterday in a post but I love it so much that I thought it deserved a close up too!

It’s called the Isis Solar Magic set, by Maxi Gossamer at C88. The set comes with lots of different length necklaces, so you can mix and match combo’s, for this picture I just decided to wear them all! It includes a matching pair of earrings and you get both the gold and silver versions in the set. Like lots of Maxi jewellery the stones are scripted to colour change, the possibilities are endless!

I’m also wearing Truth’s first mesh clothing, this bustier that you can find at FaMESHed. I’m excited that he’s started to make clothing and hopefully we’ll see more in the future! I topped it off with the new Lelutka Adile hair and switched my skin to Jalwa’s Sonam, for a more exotic look.

Finally my last piece of new is the Vanity eyes from Ikon, they’re so dreamy!

Spring Showers

Look at me, two posts in one day! I needed to make up for my absence so I figured why not.

I love days like this, where it’s warm outside but it starts to rain, I call this “sexy rain” when you can umm, sit, outside on your balcony in your summer clothes and just you know….listen to the rain fall.

Anyway, I mixed up a bunch of new releases for this outfit. The top is actually the new dress from Drift, but I decided to wear it as more of a sweater with the new jeans from Tutti Frutti. I love the soft knit texture on the dress, it’s perfect for spring days, and the cloud texture for the jeans is just that little bit different to make them stand out.

I added the new Isis Solar Magic necklace from Maxi Gossamer that was released at Collabor88 today. I’m absolutely in love with it, the design is so unique and it has lots of colour change options as well as coming in both gold and silver. The umbrella I picked up at C88 too, which was one of Yummy’s offerings for this round. The little neck scarf I’m wearing is from Baiastice and you can find it FaMESHed, it’s a great little accessory that you can mix and match with lots of outfits.» View author and full post…

His Clothes

Yes I know today is the 8th and Collabor88 opened but I felt like doing something different so, I went to The Mens Dept instead!

I’ve been wanting to dress up in some mens pants for a little while, and I tried out these biotech pants from Fruk when they were first released a couple of weeks ago, then I got sidetracked and it didn’t happen, but when I saw the purple version on special (150Ls) at the latest round of Mens Dept I knew now was the time! I liked these specifically because the suspender attachment made them just a little bit different, it’s a separate mesh piece so you can choose to add them or not. And ok, they weren’t a perfect fit for me because well, they’re not made for women. I had to edit a teeny tiny part of my hip that was jutting through the mesh, I’m sure I probably could have made that go away if I’d fiddled with my shape a bit more but I didn’t wanna get any skinnier, especially since the M size I had to wear already made my behind look pretty big in comparison to the rest of me, so I edited that a little bit too.» View author and full post…

Told You

I’m going to be disappearing off into the magical world of RL for a few days, but I didn’t wanna go before I showed you guys this cute new denim top from Drift! There are several belt options available, I’m wearing the brown here just coz neutrals are my thing the majority of the time. The plunging neckline gives a nice dose of cleavage, but I was trying for a more modest country girl look so I paired it with this lacey top from Nylon Outfitters. I added the new Baiastice necklace from FaMESHed to top it off!

Just a quick note about this picture, I’d say I take about 75-80% of my blog pics at in world locations and sometimes when the mood takes me I’ll take a green screen studio shot and edit in a background. That was my plan for today but as I had almost finished editing my avatar and was thinking about what kind of background to use (honestly, I really had no idea, I tend to make these things up as I go along!) I remembered a place in world that would’ve been perfect, the Post main store. So I kicked myself coz I coulda just taken it there, but I decided to go over there anyway, snap a pic and then edit it in as the background!» View author and full post…

Coffee and Cake

FaMESHed are celebrating their one year anniversary this month and have invited back all the designers who have participated so far! There is a huuuuuge array of goodies available, clothes and accessories for both men and women as well as lots of great decor pieces, so make sure you visit!

I was immediately in love with this new denim jacket that Emery released for the event. I’ve been silently willing someone to make one for a while now and I’m so glad Emery did. There are a few different shades available, I opted for the mid blue, and the quality is fantabulous.

Baiastice also have some great new releases for this round, including this cute dress! It would’ve been so easy to dress this up in a formal way, but I decided I wanted to wear it a bit differently. It comes in both striped or plain, (I say plain, it’s a white top half with a coloured skirt part) patterns and is gonna be great for the spring/summer season. They also released a new cross jewellery set, which comprises of a necklace and matching ring, these are exactly the kinda style I love to wear so I know I’ll get a lot of use out of them and I’m sure they’ll make a few appearances here!» View author and full post…

Born To Be

We can all be blessed with a smooth, svelte figure in SL if we desire and these new Tini Kini’s from Drift are just perfect for showing them off!

There are so many different prints available that you’re bound to find one you like, including pastels and brights, retro knit, international flags and a wildlife range. Clearly the wildlife collection wins for me!

I didn’t go overboard with my accessories for this coz I’m wearing a bikini and well…less is more right? I was actually looking for a gold belly chain on the marketplace when I came across this one from a little shop called MishMash and for 89Ls I couldn’t pass it up!

Before you think it, yea I know this hair from Exile is a couple of months old now, but it was just way too good of a match not to use it for this pic!

At The Lake House

How much do I love this new Cindy dress from Gizza, let me count the ways! Seriously, it’s a great little number. The mesh will give you curves to die for and it comes in denim or checked prints. I could probably wear this for the next month quite happily! I won’t though coz yanno, well, yanno.

I took this picture at Editorial Clarity’s Lake House, which he opened for 2 days. This ends tomorrow so make sure you check it out! Editorial is another one of those highly talented decorators in SL, I love following his stream and probably add every picture he takes to my favourites!

Anyway, guess this is a short post today coz I think it’s dinnertime
