Behind the SL Me Meme
So I was browsing the newest round of The Arcade bloggers when I happened across Cara Oliveri’s blog. I was admiring her pictures when I noticed that she started up a meme called the Behind the SL Me Meme. This little meme asks some of your personal favorites and she did hers up in a little collage so I decided to participate too and make my own collage. Demise of Flight released the most adorable basic maxi dresses. These simply pretty numbers come in 8 bold colors ranging from a neutral black to a brighter teal. I loved the teal meadow color so much that I just had to show it off for you. I added some new Exile hair (loving the sunkissed streaks!) and a pretty lotus flower from Noodles and voila, my seaswept look is complete!
Also forgive me if my picture is a little imperfect today. I was messing around with trying to create my own depth of field in GIMP and it was my first attempt. If anyone knows any good tutorials for this, feel free to pass me them because after all, practice makes perfect!

Scattered Into the Wind
Hey all! Just a quick little post with some goodies I picked up around the grid. I felt like doing a little artistic pic but taking blog pics at 2AM limits creativity. Still the pic is pretty in my opinion and I love this look so I figured I'd share it with you. The dress is from Fashionably Dead and available at this round of Collabor88. Now I know my eyes don't look like they're dying. In fact, they are quite lively looking but I've been on a The Great Gatsby soundtrack kick lately and this song by Sia is absolutely amazing so it's stuck in my head and has become my blog title today.
Like The Moon And The Stars And The Sun

Good quote and kind of fitting to this post because sometimes the people closest to you are very different from you and that's exactly how it is with me and one of my SL besties, Dinalya. Anyone who knows us can attest that we are like night and day in so many ways. It's a wonder that our friendship works out beings we are so different but you know what they say, opposites attract, so our friendship shines on.
When we both put on our Schadenfreude dresses, I said we were the sun and the moon so that's how this quote comes into play. Oh and we are letting Quinn in his new Kauna suit be the stars I guess. He initially said he was space junk but stars are prettier so yeah. Besides, he's just happy to be have two hot chicks in his arms! Seriously though, I don't know what I'd do without these two in my SL. I love them both very much and am happy that I met them. They keep a smile on my face in this otherwise gray time in my SL.
The Video Interpretation Challenge: Sober
Hi all and welcome to the first week of our musically themed challenge, The Video Interpretation Challenge. Thanks for bearing with me. I know I said I'd do a formal post yesterday but alas, RL got in the way so I'm a day late. Hopefully you'll forgive me though! This week's video, Sober by Pink, was submitted by the lovely Iri. As soon as I saw it on the list of suggestions, I had to double check the video out because I knew the lyrics were some of my faves. The song kind of rings true to me because I am that girl that has to fill the silence. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm completely random and I will keep on talking just to talk. The quiet does scare me! Anyways, enough rambling about me and why I chose to do this song first. On with my pic! Such A Sweet Treat
Hey all! Hope you all had a fun Cinco de Mayo! Mine was super busy so I'm gonna be short and sweet here just like my lingerie. When You’re Ready, Come and Get It
*sings loudly* Yes, I have this Selena Gomez song stuck in my head. I think it's gonna be there forever. It's a catchy little tone. Anyways, as soon as I saw this rainbow hair on the feeds, I had to go buy this color pack of the previously blogged Exile hair, You've Got The Love. I love colors and when I saw all these pretty pastel ones all blended together, I just about died inside and started building a look around it with various goodies I picked up at shopping events this week. Wistful: Some More Little Big Hunt Prizes
I was in an artsy mood tonight. Decided to mess around with WL. Not one that I made from scratch but a Mescaline one that I tweaked a little to my liking. I wanted to show a softer side of Kis that not many get to see. I hide her deep down but lately she's been making more of an appearance.
Anyways, as I said in my last post, The Little Big Hunt has started and has wonderful prizes. I've got two more to show off today. Sassy has out this pretty maxi dress in one of my fave colors. This dress has a delicate floral screening to it but it's very simple and versatile so be sure to grab it. Also, my necklace is Sweet Leonard's prize for this hunt and features a cutesy little bird hiding in a birdhouse. I think this necklace goes fantastic with the dress so when you're out hunting for the dress, stop by Sweet Leonard and grab the necklace too!

The Little Big Hunt Has Started
The Little Big Hunt started yesterday and runs till May 30th. Featuring over 30 stores, this hunt has themed prizes that are either little or big things. I'm showing off a cute little outfit I put together with Demise of Flight's basic tanktop with a fun elephant on it and Purple Moon's mini that comes with a hud allowing you to change it out to 6 different patterns. I think they go pretty awesomely together. Don't you agree? Oh and if you're more of a furniture fan, Circa has out this fantastic bookcase complete with everything you see shown on it as well as comfy cushions (not shown) that you can sit on.
