Hello folks, Olela is back

RL kept me really busy the last three months, lots of things happened, i’ve also moved. I missed SL, i missed blogging, i missed you! Now i’m back and my inventory seems sooo poor and full of old stuff, but this problem will be fixed soon with lots of shopping which has already started. It feels so good, oh yeah!

I received an amazing dress from the talented Aliza Karu, it’s one of her latest releases and i love it so much that i’ve decided to wear it in the first snaps i’ve taken after my return.

It’s called Covetousness, it’s mesh and also comes with sculpted skirt and hat which i’m not wearing in the picture. Aliza never stops amazing me!

The adorable skin is the Pink Fuel item from the With Love hunt, the lovely hair is Ramona from esk-imo.

I took these snaps at Lea1 and played a bit with the Phototools settings, one of the new veeery interesting features of the latest Firestorm Major release.

Hope for Emilia: Rebuilding Lives, Restoring Hope

Hello, everyone, i hope you’re all doing good.

I’m super stressed ’cause of the mega heat Summer has brought especially in Southern Italy, plus i’m more busy than ever at work: fun, isn’t it??

Anyway, i absolutely can’t complain first of all because i’m alive, then because i have a house, because i did not lose family or friends in the terrible earthquake that last May (the 20th ) hit the Emilia Romagna region, in Northern Italy, registering a magnitude of 6.1. In the following days many aftershocks and additional earthquakes struck the same area with terrible damages: 26 people died and thousands are now homeless, living in tents.

So, no, i can’t complain at all.

HOPE FOR EMILIA is an important event which started on the 22nd of July and will run through to the 9th of August: it includes a Summer Fashion Fair, fashion shows, an art expo and entertainment events to fundraise for the victims of earthquake in Emilia, Italy.

The talented and generous designers participating in the fair offer exclusive items with 100% of the proceeds being donated to assist the citizens affected by the earthquakes.

Goth Bride

Hiiii!

Aliza Karu from AD Creations is participating in the RMK Gothic Bridal Fair with amazing outfits which, obviously, are not ordinary bridal outfits and that’s one of the reasons i like them. The other reason is that Aliza did it again, she surprised me with her never-ending creativity and great skills, so here i am virtually bowing to her. A dark, goth bow, of course

Beautiful

Hello

The new bridal collection from Miamai is pure awesomeness. It really is.
And one of the things i like the most about it is that you don’t have to get married to wear those fabulous dresses. Yay! I mean, they’re not ordinary wedding dresses, so you only have to pick the colour you prefer and, well, wear the dress!
Areanne in oyster colour is my fav. It’s made of grace. And when i wore it with the Glam Affair Giselle skin from the Sent to Destroy pack, available at Culture Shock, i was shocked, indeed, ’cause together they…..shine!

So beautiful.
And beautiful is that new hairstyle from tram which definitely completes the look.
And beautiful are the poses that Mavi Beck made for Miamai.
And beautiful is the location where i took the snaps, the art installation by Alpha Auer which is part of the Further Along the Path project.

Turban, top, highwaist shorts and dress are all part of the fabulous new mesh collection.

I love the textures, the patterns, the colours of all of them, but, most of all, i totally fell for the turban, a great piece of art.

Coolness in Mayfair :)

Hello

Yesterday i went to explore Mayfair, the first all mesh sim in SL and i liked it so much i decided to take a few snaps. So, what else do you need when you have a beautiful location and you’re in the mood for some niiiiiice pictures? You need appropriate clothes and accessories to match the coolness of the place, of course!
And i knew what to wear.

coldLogic recently released a gorgeous mesh top which is simply perfect: i love everything about it, the textures, the way it fits, its softness, its style. That’s what i mean when i think of mesh in SL. I’ve got something similar in RL, it’s a style i really dig, and i would also like that top (THAT one, not something similar!) in RL too

I matched the top with some awesome trousers from Diapop and i think they go really well together.

And then came the bag. Well, the bag with the pose(s).

Miamai released the fantastic Traveller set for Culture Shock, it’s a set of 10 poses and it includes two mesh bags to fit them! Woohoo!

I’m back! :P

Hellooooo!
I’ve been away for one month ’cause my computer died and SL did not work properly on the laptop i was using while the new pc was being built. Now i’m back with my fantastic new computer, back to SL and back to blogging, yay!

I’m sure you guys know this fantasy skin from Glam Affair which is available at The Dressing Room, it’s absolutely stunning, I really love it, it was my first purchase after my return. Corset and leggings are awesome items from Favole that i was supposed to blog some time ago, but then computer issues didn’t let me, so i’m doing it now. The eyes are a new release from Mayfly, they’re wonderfully detailed mesh eyes (even though in the picture i’m wearing them without the mesh prims) and come in different colours.
