everything always comes to an end. sometimes, endings can lead to sadness && sometimes endings can lead to more freedom, happiness and relief than expected. but nevertheless, my own ending can only be defined as… bittersweet.

with months of rl insanity, my blogging time in sl has taken a hit. and rather than thinking of it as an annoyance, i’ve come to think of it as a blessing in disguise. without feeling the need to blog, i’ve found myself actually enjoying my second life when i get the chance to log in. and it’s been wonderful.

so even after almost three years of off-and-on hard work, i’m ending it here.

to all the designers i’ve come to know in second life: thank you. it’s been my absolute pleasure to showcase your wonderful items in the best way i can.

to everyone who has ever read my blog: thank you. every single visit to my little corner of the internet means quite a lot to me.

giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirl, it is *too* early in the morning right now in my area of the world. the sun is barely high enough in the sky to make it light out && yet here i am, awake. now, sometimes i don’t mind an early start to the day, but today… mmh, i dunno if i am feelin’ it yet. maybe i need a cup of coffee…

…and, perhaps, a best friend to prance around in my underwears with.

cause, y’know, that’s the best thing to do at the buttcrack of dawn. ;P and luckily for us, there is a *hunt* going on right now to supply us with said underwears… free of charge~

the dirty pillows hunt started at the beginning of the month && bff vivi and i were pretty excited to tuck in to it. me, i was most excited for the fact that free lingerie is the best lingerie (considering out of all the categories of clothing there are in my virtual wardrobe, the smallest folder is for bras ‘n’ panties), but for vivi… she was excited because this hunt includes boobies.

so! i’ve showed off my new bedroom already && today, i’m posing in part of my living room…

bff vivi and i have been putting a few last finishing touches on our new home.. y’know, the little details that make things look more “lived in”. and since our living room is so huge (ie, there’s enough room for a full living room set while *still* leaving half the room undecorated), she and i decided to put down a cute dining room set… even though we don’t have a kitchen. ;P only in sl!

and so my look for today is very appropriate for lounging around my house, something comfy but still cute.. while i rez and re-rez candles and books and paintings and picture frames and flower pots.

this cute cream-colored mesh top i’m wearing is *new* from sakide. there’s lots of new releases at sakide, all of which are awesome separates. ponchos(!), jeans, stockings, boots.. but these v-neck tees were probably my favorites out of the bunch. they are great for layering, which is something i *love* to do in autumn, but still season-appropriate enough on their own to totally work for fall. and i liked this khaki color for how versatile it is to work with!» View author and full post…

i am in *love* with the newest round of collabor88 goodies…

…not only is the color palette gorgeous (shades of deep orange, golden yellow && cool teal-blue), but just about everything i spied there was callin’ my name~

collabor88 is one of those events that i look most forward to every single month. the mixture of home furnishings (which *really* helps, considering i’ve a brand new home to finish decorating!), fabulous fashion, accessories and even poses is all kinds of awesome. but this round, i found *so* many things i honestly flipped out for that i couldn’t even fit everything into one look. the collections just keep getting better && better and this round was definitely no exception.

the dress i’m wearing here is *so* sexy. it’s from hucci and i absolutely love it. the turtleneck collar, the length of the skirt, the lovely suede texturing…. and the way it moves… it is just flaw free. the fit on this dress is fantastic and i adore this blue-gray color, but i also snagged it in black because it was just too *good* to pass up.

if you’ve followed my blog at all over the years, you’ll know that bff vivi && i have lived together as roomies in sl for quite a while. last summer she and i bought a small beachy parcel and set up a house there together… there were lots of pictures here on my blog of us in our home. but this week, she ‘n’ i decided to move… and what an undertaking that was!

we’re *mostly* moved in… not everything is decorated and we’re still in the stages of figuring out what to put where… but since my bedroom is just about finished, i decided i’d pose there for my bloggity pics there today.

our land is still beachy, so our furnishings for the moment is in shades of cream, khaki, blue, and yellow. but i am really liking it && the entire sim is gorgeous, so vivi and i have had no problems settling right in~

i promise once it’s all decorated, i’ll snap some pics.. but for now, you’re stuck seein’ me in my bedroom. ;P

anyway! enough about my new house, onto the look i’ve got for today!

so it’s been a few days since my last post, and i have a very good reason for that.. i swear.

i’m not moving in rl… but i am in sl. and i forgot how time consuming it can be to get everything set back up! bff vivi and i have been working the last few days on setting up our new house and our new parcel, but once we’re done decorating (and redecorating… and redecorating a third time) i’ll be able to get back to blogging normally! and that may include a li’l tour of our new home, so, at least there’s that to look forward to? xP ❤

i’m kind of… accidentally patriotic with my look for today. powder blue isn’t *typically* the shade one associates with the good ole red, white and blue.. but that ended up being my color scheme for the day~

and it *all* started with this cherry print skirt.

i picked it up from teefy @ the new fameshed collection because… it’s cherries(!). this print is so cute and i love the way these skirts fit. high-waist skirts are always super sexy, especially when they’re nice and short like these are, but i chose to wear the skirt underneath a large ‘n’ comfy hoodie (from ispachi — this light blue color is wonderful!) for a more cute, casual look.

these shoes from g field were *perfect* for this look… because while i grabbed the black pair, most of the shoe is totally customizable. the upper half, the toe, the sole && the laces are all texture change, so i was able to change my shoes to match my red && blue look. these shoes are fantastically made (as is everything from g field), and really nice for casual wear.. and the fact that i can match them to just about *anything* make these a great bargain.» View author and full post…

hi, have you seen my awesome chair?

my chair has horns and a raven. my chair > your chair.

i have this chair because i wanted something funky to pose with for my look for today. there really was no *need* for a chair, but i found this one at handverk (because maybe.. just maybe.. i was there eying up a few more pairs of heels, y’know, to go with my sweet pink penis pumps) and i was compelled to buy it. i mean, it has horns(!) and a raven(!!).. what more needs to be said?

so to not detract from the awesomeness of this chair, i decided to dress understated and demure…….. with gray skin, purple-tipped ears, red eyes and some crazy eye makeup. ..*coughs*

anyway! my look for today is a combination of a few things i wanted to show off, so let me touch on ‘em here before i get too sarcastic. these huge platform’d boots i’m wearing are from sakide and if you act *fast*, they might still be available to grab! they were a 100L special for halloween and, as i’m sure you’re aware, halloween is over… but these boots are still great for beyond just halloween.» View author and full post…

ah, november… even though it is undeniably autumn now that halloween is over, and i’ve woken up every day recently in my rl to typical fall weather with cold winds && lotsa rain (damn you, hurricane sandy!), i wasn’t really feelin’ the whole bundled up sort of look for today.

and it has a *lot* to do with these shoes. but i’ll get to that in a moment~

most of this look is made up of things i’ve had floatin’ around in my inventory for a li’l while, which is.. refreshing to do, sometimes. i know i talk a lot here about the black hole that is my virtual wardrobe and even though at the moment it is mostly organized, there still are things i rediscover in there that i forgot i had. it’s nice to go shopping in my own inventory && put together a “new” look with stuffs i’ve bought in the past. y’know, give them fresh new life and all that!

i grabbed this bra from sn@tch, during a recent sale. i *think* the sale has ended ( sorry, blogger fail ;( ) but this lingerie set was pretty and *leopard* and caught my eye. i picked up a few other things during that sale… as i do with most sales.» View author and full post…
