Winter Femboy Hunt – Look 2

A little while earlier today I posted some information and showed off a bunch of goodies from the Winter Femboy Hunt and now I’m back with more!

This time, with the exception of the mesh feet from NOYA, everything I’m wearing can be found during the hunt. The “Andrej” shape and skin are from Aeva//Heartsick and come in a choice of five different skin tones. You also get a teeth tattoo layer, hair base layers and alpha layers for hiding the default SL avatar eyelashes. I failed to mention in my previous post that I was wearing the Andrej shape then too..oops!

The two tone Lythrum mesh hair is a hunt exclusive from Tableau Vivant. It works wonderfully with the skin and sexy “Snow Prince” outfit I’m wearing from A.S.S . The corset comes on a clothing layer and the pants are made using mesh. I think it’s gorgeous!

Finally the backdrop for this picture is a very pretty build from Scarlet Creative. It was made for William Weaver to display his art in and, with William’s permission, is now offered as a freebie at the Scarlet Creative store. Winter Femboy Hunt – Look 1

I had a great time doing and blogging the Femboy Hunt back in the summer so when I saw there was another one going on I jumped at the chance to get my hands on some more androgynous goodies.

There are fifty-ish stores taking part, the majority of which have provided a hint to make things easier. All hints and Surls to stores can be found on the Femboy Hunt Blog.

Another handy thing they’ve done is add a slide show of pictures showing the gifts. This is not an expensive hunt by any means with each gift costing just L$2, but it’s nice to be able to see them and decide which ones you might like to get beforehand.

I’m showing a mish-mash of goodies from the hunt here. The skin I’m wearing is “PinkSugar” from WOW Skins. It comes with a cleavage and non cleavage options, so this is a great one to pick up for all the ladies and femboys out there.

Holo-Kitties! Mod for Blue Galaxian Feline Avatar

I wish I had the know-how and skill to create mods for avatars. Not just the one I’m wearing here but others I have too. I think it would be great to have a “one off” style to strut around in and perhaps it’s something I’ll get around to at least trying at some point. Until that day comes, if it ever does, it’s not a huge problem because there are plenty of talented people making absolutely cracking mods for the BG feline avatar and other furry critters as well.

The one shown in the pictures here comes from Winry’s Whimsey and is something I have had my eye on for quite some time. The biggest problem I had was picking which colour to get because I’m terribly indecisive like that. Even that isn’t a very good excuse though when they’re so reasonably priced at just L$299 each, but there we go!

So you tell us you couldn’t chose a colour, yet I see two in the picture…indeed you do. The cute kitty on the left is my friend Ayoki. She recently purchased the BG avatar and seems to be enjoying shopping for mods and other accessories to alter her appearance. SMARTMESH – Chillie – Rider Jacket

I’m finding myself with a rapidly expanding collection of mesh clothing in my inventory – just like most people no doubt. I do love me some meshy goodness, but there are a couple of things I don’t like about it too. One is having my inventory clogged up with at least 6 different sizes of the same thing with (almost) every purchase I make. Second is the constant ‘mini tweaks’ I’m having to make to various bits of my shape so that it fits properly.

Now, sure I could delete the sizes that don’t fit my avatar, but then what if I decide to change my shape somewhere down the line either for good or just for fun and find the version I kept doesn’t fit anymore? That’d be crazy amounts of frustrating…Especially if I’d thrown out the original box with all the sizes in it

I’m hoping my mini gripe with mesh will end up becoming a thing of the past in the not too distant future with the introduction of SMARTMESH™. Wishin’ You A Furry Merry Christmas!

So much to do and so little time to get it all done! I still felt the need to take a five minutes (or so) time out from all the preparations to pop up a post though, especially as it’s something I’ve been very bad at doing this month.

I wonder if that makes me naughty and means Santa won’t bring me any presents. Even if he doesn’t there’s not much more I could possibly want. I’m healthy, extremely happy and all loved up! I’ve also been spoiled by a host of very generous creators around the grid via advent calendars, group gifts, dollabies and other offers just like so many of you out there I’m sure.

Speaking of generous gifts I want to show you a couple starting with this super cute polar bear cub avatar that is being given away for free by Wynxworks until tomorrow. It’s so well made, the textures are amazing and there is a useful HUD with facial expressions, sleep, sit and dance animations all plugged into it.

These fantastic colourful foxes are also available for a limited time over the holiday period from Avatar Planet» View author and full post…. I really really like them. The texture on the skin has a fluffy furry look to it, the colours are bright and bold, the face is cute and again a HUD with numerous options comes with it so you can add a little bit of personal flare.

I first saw the wonderfully colourful sweater version of this on my friend Dido’s blog and had gone over to the main store ready to purchase one for myself when I noticed the Peace on Earth Hunt sign. I had a wander around, found what I was looking for and then squeaked happily as I saw the offered prize was the fab cardigan you can see above.

I think I will go back soon and grab me one of the jumpers as well. They look so warm and comfortable which is exactly what is needed now the cold of winter is setting in.

Winter Woolies

Goodness me! What a difference a skin and hair can make. It’s hard to believe that my regular Kooky shape is hidden under there somewhere. She’s barely recognisable! Especially without her kitty-bits.

Anyway! Today comes my first December post which will doubtlessly be followed by many that show off wintery themed goodies. I really love this time of year with the snow and frost making everything look so pretty.

The main focus of my post today is the newly released loose hooded sweaters from NiNight Creations. There are eight colours and two different versions to pick from – a winter themed hoodie with a snow flake design and a plain knitted version.

The grey sweater in the first image is NiNight Creations offering for the newest round of Fashion Quotes and will be available there until the 24th of this month. All other colours can be found at the main store.

But Rules Are Made To Be Broken

It is one thing to land yourself in a bit of bother when you can’t follow the rules clearly set out before you but quite another when you’re trying to take someone, or something, else down with you. Just look at that cheeky little face trying to convince the innocent Panda that a hug is a good idea. I know that Kooky kitty cuddles are priceless and everyone (okay slight exaggeration there) wants one, but hiding bamboo to entice the Panda closer is bad form. What a naughty little thing ~~I am~~ she is!

Since I picked up the box of free avatars from AnthroXtacy last week I’d been toying with the idea of getting one of the cat avatars. It is something that I’d been considering doing for some time but I’d never really been so excited by any of the ones available that I had to have it.

That said, with the changes to AnthroXtacy and the reduction in price I though it was as good a time as any to pick one up and see what I thought of it. Al Vulo Gypsy

This is such a gorgeous light toned skin smothered in a generous amount of freckles. I think it’s just adorable.

Say Cheese!

I’ve been inspired to update my profile picture for the first time in a while. This inspiration came about when my good friend Ellie asked me if I would make a profile picture for her. I was honoured that she’d even ask because I’m not the best at these kinda things by a long shot though I do have fun trying.

We found a really interesting graffiti covered wall which is very much in keeping with both of our styles. Ellie struck a pose in front of it and I began snapping away. We tried out a couple of different poses and I sifted through goodness knows how many windlight settings to see which of them would help me create something that I hoped Ellie would like.

I loved the wall Ellie posed in front of so much that I thought I’d use the same spot to make one for myself while trying to make them different at the same time, which I think I managed to achieve. I’m really happy with how all the pictures turned out, though I think I like the top picture of Ellie slightly more than the other one for some reason.

So this isn’t just a post filled with rambles I’ll let you know that you can find out what I am wearing in my previous post and though I’m not sure where Ellie’s skirt is from I know for sure that her top is the Nylon Vest and shirts from +grasp+» View author and full post….
