I had a great time doing and blogging the Femboy Hunt back in the summer so when I saw there was another one going on I jumped at the chance to get my hands on some more androgynous goodies.

There are fifty-ish stores taking part, the majority of which have provided a hint to make things easier. All hints and Surls to stores can be found on the Femboy Hunt Blog.

Another handy thing they’ve done is add a slide show of pictures showing the gifts. This is not an expensive hunt by any means with each gift costing just L$2, but it’s nice to be able to see them and decide which ones you might like to get beforehand.

 

The shirt can be found at Iron Claw» View author and full post… which is a store I’m going to keep a closer eye on. They have some really great and interesting mesh clothes for both gals and guys.

I wish I had the know-how and skill to create mods for avatars. Not just the one I’m wearing here but others I have too. I think it would be great to have a “one off” style to strut around in and perhaps it’s something I’ll get around to at least trying at some point. Until that day comes, if it ever does, it’s not a huge problem because there are plenty of talented people making absolutely cracking mods for the BG feline avatar and other furry critters as well.

The one shown in the pictures here comes from Winry’s Whimsey and is something I have had my eye on for quite some time. The biggest problem I had was picking which colour to get because I’m terribly indecisive like that. Even that isn’t a very good excuse though when they’re so reasonably priced at just L$299 each, but there we go!

I just love the picture above. It came about far more by luck than judgement but then again so did the outfit/costume/whatever-it-is that I’m wearing too.

I was having a little wander around earlier today visiting stores I’ve not been to in a while. One place I went to was  ::[P I X E L S]:: where I found the V2 GhostKat Jacket* and what a fun little item it is! I played with the idea of going bright and colourful but ended plumping for an all black number; adding a pair of jeans from Spearsong and my trusted old +DV8+ Candy Kitty boots which are sadly no longer available.

I thought I’d better add an image closer to the snapshot I took in-world so you have a better idea of what the top actually looks like. It’s made the ‘old fashioned way’ with clothing layers and prim attachments for the sleeves, hood, collar and the jacket bottom. It’s available in a choice of several different colour which is always nice.

I’m not really sure what I am, but I think I look pretty funky!

It is one thing to land yourself in a bit of bother when you can’t follow the rules clearly set out before you but quite another when you’re trying to take someone, or something, else down with you. Just look at that cheeky little face trying to convince the innocent Panda that a hug is a good idea. I know that Kooky kitty cuddles are priceless and everyone (okay slight exaggeration there) wants one, but hiding bamboo to entice the Panda closer is bad form. What a naughty little thing I am she is!

Since I picked up the box of free avatars from AnthroXtacy last week I’d been toying with the idea of getting one of the cat avatars. It is something that I’d been considering doing for some time but I’d never really been so excited by any of the ones available that I had to have it.

That said, with the changes to AnthroXtacy and the reduction in price I though it was as good a time as any to pick one up and see what I thought of it. To this point I’ve enjoyed wandering the grid in my BG Feline avatar or the DSD Ocelot» View author and full post…. Now I can add my AnthroXtacy kitty to that list!

There are just a couple of days to go before the Mini Gypsy Hunt ends so if you’d like to pick up this pretty pink number from NiNight Creations you’d better get the wagon wheels in motion and get yourself over there quickly. The item you need to find is a red button.

This is such a gorgeous light toned skin smothered in a generous amount of freckles. I think it’s just adorable.

Looking slighty different today aren’t I? Still as cute as ever though.

On Monday the wonderful people over at Cover My Furry Butt! shared some news on their blog that I had to take advantage of. Because of real life commitments the way the furry shop AnthroXtacy is being run for now is changing dramatically. Almost all of the avatars sold by this store (including the fatpacks) have been set at greatly reduced prices.

The real meat of this post is going to concentrate on a box filled with oodles of free furry avatars. I am not sure if you’re able to pick it up at the in-world store, but you can grab it from the AX group notices. I’m also not sure how long it will be before the notice expires so if you want to take advantage of this offer I’d grab it sooner rather than later.

Inside the box you get bats, birds, deers, foxes, hyenas, rodents, sharks, tigers, lions, wolves and a box of even older avatars which I didn’t look inside yet. Each box is a fatpack with, I’d guess, somewhere between 10 and 15 different colours to pick from.

Having churned out a fair few posts over the last few days I was going to take a break from snapping pictures and writing some text to go with them for my blog today. However, that went completely out the window after I stumbled over a fun item that made me squee with joy.

As happens with most things of this nature I knew right away it was something I HAD to have and share with you, dear readers.

So here it is. The quirky, giggletastic, customisable mesh Gingerman Avatar and AO from  *G-D* (Guaran-Dou) !

I got the “Surprise” version in the pumpkin shade and I LOVE it!

The wonderful thing about this avatar is that there are countless numbers of possible combinations and options so I doubt two people will ever be wearing the same thing at the same time unless they planned it that way. You can be (just about) completely unique and stand out from the crowd which makes me a very happy girl.

The Gingerman avatar is available in four different variations – including one shaped like a bear – and a selection of colours – including a burnt version.
