I just love the picture above. It came about far more by luck than judgement but then again so did the outfit/costume/whatever-it-is that I’m wearing too.

I was having a little wander around earlier today visiting stores I’ve not been to in a while. One place I went to was  ::[P I X E L S]:: where I found the V2 GhostKat Jacket* and what a fun little item it is! I played with the idea of going bright and colourful but ended plumping for an all black number; adding a pair of jeans from Spearsong and my trusted old +DV8+ Candy Kitty boots which are sadly no longer available.

I thought I’d better add an image closer to the snapshot I took in-world so you have a better idea of what the top actually looks like. It’s made the ‘old fashioned way’ with clothing layers and prim attachments for the sleeves, hood, collar and the jacket bottom. It’s available in a choice of several different colour which is always nice.

I’m not really sure what I am, but I think I look pretty funky!

Today I’ve broken Kooky boy back out of the box and we’ve got a bit of a “Men in Black” Thing going on. I know it’s probably just me but the idea of it made me giggle away to myself particularly as I remembered the names of the agents in the movie are “J” and “K” – matching my initials. So today I dub myself Agent KJ!

I’ve quite impressed myself this time around. Agent KJ isn’t a bad looking chap even if I do say so myself. It’s taken a whole mish mash of things old and new to create him. At the bottom of it all is the *Ultra shape* I found on the MHOH7 hunt some time ago now. On top of that, after much deliberation, I decided that this months male group gift skin “Vincent” from Filthy was the best fit for my chosen shape.

So that KJ wasn’t completely bald I purchased the “Shorty” head tattoo from 99Hair which I really like. The suit is a free item found at AsHmOot for the “Shaken but not Stirred” hunt. The free 2nd Anniversary group gift hat from Ronsem really adds another dimension to the look and helps to further hide the mysterious eyes that are already hidden behind a pair of Gudshu» View author and full post… sunglasses.

I was checking out the events posted on the Seraphim Blog a couple of days ago and saw that there is another shop due to close soon. I decided to hop over and take a look at products I could pick up at rock bottom prices. Everything at Baffle has been reduced down to just L$55 which is insanely cheap when you account for the quality of the items there.

As I had a look around a few things caught my eye including the skyboxes which you can test drive on the demo platform before purchase. I was amazed by the quality of them and grabbed a couple.

While I’m quite happy with my SL home I am going to get plenty of use out of these boxes. I think the one I am showing here – Le Petit Reve - will serve wonderfully as a little studio and backdrop for my blog pictures when I’m feeling lazy or don’t have time to find setting.

While I was rezzing my new sky box to have a look at it I was joined by my good friend and the most adorabubble neko I ever did meet.. Elliecat!

We always have bundles of fun when we’re together and today we were playing with houses.

With darker nights and the cooler weather setting in I always think this is a great time of year to shut the rest of the world outside where it belongs and settle down with a movie or two. Of course to go with the warmth, comfortable clothing and movies one should always have something delicious to drink and far too many unhealthy snacks to munch on. The extra calories lead to extra layers of insulation ready for the cold weather- or so I try to convince myself anyway.

The creator of all things Death Row Designs, Jaimy Hancroft, has been having a splurge on making complete avatars over the past few weeks. Each one of them completely unique and carefully crafted. There are vampires and pumpkin headed people, witches and clowns, handsome chaps and lovely ladies – something for everyone.

 

As with all DrD products each and every part has been made by Jaimy’s skilled hands.
