It’s the first day of the Home & Garden Expo, and there is just so many things to see and builders to check out. So many Sims to explore! The previews I’m showing you today from the expo have a distinct Asian flair, and are just some lovely examples of some of the many treasures that are in store for you while shopping and hunting the expo.

I’m on a pursuit of knowledge right now, mainly about myself.  I’m kind of a sick puppy in a lot of ways both physical and mental and part of the journey is to try to understand why I am so good at leaving trails of destruction around me and inside myself.  I had a bit of an episode at the weekend, but I didn’t panic as much as I might have done and and part of the reason for that is the SL community in general.  It’s strange that things I am supposed to do in RL mean less than the fact that I was allocated to do certain blogs and didn’t want to let people down.  People on Plurk I hardly know provided comfort; I know it wasn’t difficult but it still took a moment. And I’m grateful.  Sorry, very vague but that’s part of the magic that is me.

Anyway that was a weak segue into looking at the stars…..

I found it funny that the truly lovely guys at 22769 » View author and full post…(Paco Pooley & Manuel Ormidale) said that Fantasy Faire was “out of their comfort zone”, and yet they have made such an awesome and eclectic release.  I’m not a great photographer of buildings, so hope that you can see this mini-observatory set that is part of their Fantasy Faire charity release through the Bauwerk brand.  I also love the hat (charity too) and the robes with funky fantasy leather pants.

The Challenge is a monthly event organized by Bauwerk and L&K Prefabs where participating builders have to create an object to fit a randomly generated theme. The second round theme this month is California Bungalow – not the most exotic, but there are some nice items from the participants that should appeal to many (previews can be seen on the website).

The fashion here features a hunt gift from American Bazaar, an excellent free male shape found on MP, new release jeans from KlubWerK (check out the store for a whole bunch of group gifts) and more from Mens Dept. Also note that some of the furniture blogged below is from the Cookie Jar Spring Festival Hunt, which ends this weekend.

The Garden opens tomorrow, the 15th, with many beautiful items to create the perfect English garden setting. One thing I’m loving about The Liaison Collaborative is the fact that every other month the focus is on home and garden creators. I have always been a huge fan of home and garden items, but it’s only been the past year since the introduction of mesh, that it (home and garden designs) have really taken off, and become sought after. Now you are able to live on your 512 plot and have it impeccably decorated without compromising quality for low prim counts. Happy decorating!

As he fell through the sky toward almost certain death, he tried to remember what had led to this somewhat annoying state of affairs….

(Apologies in advance for everything.  This blog is unredeemably geeky and doesn’t even have the saving grace of being particularly clever.  I just really wanted to blog the awesome phone from Bauwerk (22769) at the Men’s Department and ended up doing this.) Anyway back to the story…

Not a lot of people know this, but Dr Who isn’t really the last of the Gallifreyans.  He had a cousin who had failed the Time Lord examinations on 47 occasions, and was referred to as  “Dr Where Am I, exactly?”.
