Ellooooooo! Hope everyone is well. I know I am, it’s sunny and getting hot out here so I’ve been wanting to spend all my time outside. Truth’s sale is still going on and I’ve been in the mood to be a red head. I love the textures that Truth uses for his red hair it’s hard not to love it. Zombie Suicide has also these amazing corsets that I absolutely fell in love with when I went there a couple of days ago. The colors went well with my outfit that I put together for a dark Alice event I hosted as the Queen of Hearts. Have fun shopping!

 Ellooooooooo! The weather here has been bipolar but today is total dress weather, like get outside and dance warm. What better way to celebrate then by a kinda new release from Badazzle Designs? I saw this on Kat’s page and said ooo ooo ooo gimmie gimmie gimmie… It’s only a 100 L so why not go pick it up. I bought my copy on marketplace but from what I hear Badazzle Designs also has an inworld location again. Also be sure to check out the Fantasy Faire, F*cking Ninjas is taking part and it’s sure to be amazing. Sascha has 3 very nice items out that you can pick up for 60L Weekend. I’m wearing one of them in this post, called SAS Anouk in White and it’s pretty snazzy!  Not a bad deal for only 60 lindens.  If I can find some extra moments, I’ll see if I can strut around quickly in the other two lovely pieces before the weekend is out.

At Skin Fair 2013, on the second sim, I picked up this fantastic skin by Dream Ink called Amaris.  That’s the thing I love about the fairs is that I usually find creators that I knew nothing about.  I’m a new fan of Dream Ink.  Always a bit behind the 8-ball I am!

Bax has out some brand new stockings that are to die for, but for this dress I decided to stick with their simpler soft and shiny sheer black pantyhose.  And it is their new Foxy black leather boots that I’m sporting!

Helloooooooo! Today I’m bringing a new skin, well new to me anyways, and an outfit that I LOVE! My brother recently took me with him to the Birth skin store. I’ve seen this store on marketplace and the majority of skins I’ve seen are male BUT when we went I found three skins with a ton of different tones, make up options and cleavage options it was insane. To get all of the make up options you need to purchase the fat pack of the tone you want which is pretty steep at 5k and since I don’t have that kind of money to spend on skin I bought just this one tone. Single tones are pretty reasonable at 990L, this is my most expensive skin but it’s beautiful and beautifully done. The men’s skins are just as amazing and look so epic. It’s definitely a skin store worth checking into if your looking for skin, male or female. They also sell hair and eyes and a bunch of other goodies! Anywho this outfit is from AlterEgo. I saw it and instantly liked it. It comes with Tango’s appliers and a belt which isn’t pictured. I would have worn my tangos for this post but my skin doesn’t have an applier (I’m too lazy to match it using the hud too shhh) and my hair isn’t implant friendly…

I really enjoy it when something in Second Life reminds me that I’m here to have fun some of the time. I work hard at a professional approach and business relationship but on occasion, I just have fun with the playfulness of this place. When Something New sent out a free pose pair, I had to play with it.

I have been using song titles to name my blog posts recently, growing and evolving as a blogger. When I thought of holding on tight, I recalled this song, and it’s so aptly applied to Second Life. Persevere. Hold on tight to your dreams. I borrowed a helper here, someone who generously answered my petition to partner pose. In exchange, I took several photos for him and his special someone. I hope they hold on tightly to one another. Thank you Skua Sarrasine.

Both of these outfits have a great deal in common. Both showcase the VIP items from Carrie’s Lingerie January and February. Both display Chop Zuey Black Ice. And both boldly show the skill of Face Paint’s creator in this week’s new make-up on sale for 55L.

The January VIP outfit from Carrie’s has the look of winter, with snowflakes and the cool ivory base color. The intensity of the new Naomi Smoke Face Paint stands out when paired with this lingerie.

Not only does Carrie’s offer VIP free gifts, 25% discount on new releases and other special treats, you also have an array of places to take beautiful photographs and these spaces are updated regularly. The background here looks like it was designed to go with my outfit.

This photograph accentuates the beauty of the newest make-up I’ve gotten from Face Paint and one of the new Chop Zuey sets I have not blogged yet. I still have a few more pieces, and she keeps releasing more must haves!

I love the way the rose has poses that are all over the place. This reminded me of a Maxim add, or something you might find in Sports Illustrated. Both magazines take luscious photos of girls in sexy poses, but they keep their clothes while they do the photo shoot.» View author and full post…

Sometimes I think you can tell by just looking at a photo that the person in it is having fun. When I took these two photos of the ensemble I created using a variety of the PMVH items, I had a blast.

The cute pink hair comes from Hinako. You’ll see a great set of painted nails in the foreground as well, submitted from pulcino for the hunt. A heart necklace hangs round my throat a treat from Rivendell. The sweater, Lia from chocolat, looked like it was drawn to fit the setting, with the red trees in the background and the sled over to the left. And the tail that hooks around and holds a little lantern topped off this crazy fun look! Hunts always mean you get to taste a little something from the world of fashion around the grid, and expose you to new designers and fun. I took one other photo, and am sharing it, because I’ve been playing with the artistry of the game and in my paint program.

I’ve come a long way since my debut as a store model for Carrie’s Lingerie. I pulled out the old shape that she and her manager Naughty Princess helped choose for me. I had so many things to learn and working with Carrie and her staff for a little more than 6 months impacted my world in ways I couldn’t see then but now in retrospect, I see how valuable it was and how much it’s helped to make me who and what I am today.

I loved the job, meeting new people, and the lingerie was beautiful then and even more so with each passing month as the designer improves with each new creation. At Carrie’s I had a lot to learn, and my first big ‘OOPS’ that ended up with a negative parting. I made two serious decisions at that point. First, I realized that my name, as a model, as an assistant, as a friend… my name means something and when I disappointed the staff at Carrie’s, I did not represent their name well in that moment, but I also did not represent my name very well.
