I escaped to Second Life today, taking a short break from my busy real life. The hot and humid weather at my side of the world just drove me off to a Second Life beach! I walked barefooted along the sandy beach at the edge of the water, feeling the sand and the water on my feet…. coupled with the sound of the waves and the warm breeze on the body…. it is such a relaxing feeling!!!

If you would only know how much time I take to put together a look and blog about it each time, you would probably laugh! But then, you must know, I have myself a list of criteria to meet before making a purchase. Too rational? I know.
Here is one bundled outfit from To Be Unique that has almost everything one needs to look good. In its bundle there is a mesh jacket, a mesh dress and a pair of mesh boots, all in 12 colours, changeable using the HUD provided. On top of that, there is a sculpted necklace and a pair of earrings included. The bundle is only L$49!!! Shanti is a Sanskrit word which I had came across quite a number of Indian women have for their names. I had not thought of finding out if this word carries a meaning until Legal Insanity released a new mesh dress with this name recently. Shanti simply means peace, tranquillity. Such a beautiful name.
Legal Insanity’s Shanti Dress comes in 8 choices of colours and textures. This one I am wearing is Jeans Camelia, worn underneath a crochet vest. I am in the mood to try out boho style today and I wonder if this look is somewhat any where near to it! I have heard about Virtual Asia sim weeks or months back and finally made my way over to the sim today. The sim depicts the vibrancy of a metropolitan with dense, high rise buildings and big billboards. It was built masterfully using lots of photo realistic images of Hong Kong and Tokyo. I am glad that I took the time to visit the sim and made some nice photo shoots with Nirans Viewer. The Viewer gives such an amazing graphic experience that is not found in the other Viewers, it makes any ordinary looking build become alive!
As you can see in the photos, I am wearing a pair of skinny jeans released recently by Legal Insanity with a long sleeve white t-shirt. I love wearing jeans with a white top, but I am very particular with the jeans’ cutting. I must say this pair is by far my favourite. And… oh, you should know … the white top on me is not mesh! It was really hard these days to find non-mesh top and I still adore them.
And finally to spice up these rather basic outfits, I chose to accessorize my skinny jeans and white tee that give a stylish flattering casual look.»

I have just visited Citysphere in Second Life which is a floating sphere city, well of course, that is how the name Citysphere came about. You may find yourself against gravity if you don’t follow the ‘law’ which is simply click the ground to get a red cube and sit on it, then walk. Now, can you imagine walking on a sphere? This very cool city is said to have 132 buildings erected on it and here is the challenge…. attempt to count the numbers of buildings on it if walking around the city has not got you giddy and nausea yet!»

In Amsterdam today, “the day time temperature is going to reach 4 degree Celsius and the temperature is going to dip to -1 degree Celsius at night…….”
So I was out in my trench coat, scarf, hat and boots, exploring Amsterdam sim. Yes, again!!! There are two Amsterdam sims and Holland sim which are adjacent to one another. I have just got to visit all to find some great spots for photo shoots.

Seven days into 2013 and I am still having post holidays blues…. or is it the weather that is affecting my mood? I am dragging my feet and I can’t seem to be working faster than I want to.
So I played with this collection of sculpted nails which I just got from Bamboo Nails. It has a HUD with three exciting features. A feature that allows me to paint an individual nail or all nails from the five choices of colour polishes, change the length of the nails and of course the size can be changed too. Please see pictures below on how the HUD looks. Bamboo Nails has many other collections with similar features in a HUD worth checking out at their main store.
If painting nails can change one’s mood, then that did! I got myself dressed in these giraffe texture outfit and matching brown boots then adorned with a necklace and put on my sunglasses and there I was, off to Amsterdam to continue my exploration.
The end result was a minimalist chic look ….as quoted by Leonardo Da Vinci “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” …. no?
