Like when you have people who TELL you about how humble they were, or shocked, or angry and they basically do not change the tone of their voice at all but they describe it for you in complete detail like they are giving you character directions for a play. It is soooo awesome.

Now I don’t have to waste energy anymore pretending to be shocked when I get caught with my hand in the cookie jar … I can just describe it all. While I distract them with my fabulous language skills … I can probably slip a couple of cookies out. I mean if the story is good enough they should be weeping.

Weeping people are easily fooled.

Soap Operas have known this for years. How do you think they switch the baby born last week for a 13 year old without anyone realizing? You guessed it … weeeping scenes.

And mean girls can threaten just by describing what they will do and then what you will be doing when they are done doing to you what needs to be done. 

That shit is scary.

Not far from FuLo’s booth, I found the darling Euphoria gown at Celtic Wolf’s booth.  The Euphoria gown is an exclusive for the event, and I picked it up for only L$50!  That is an unbelievable bargain for such a beautifully detailed creation!

At the You’re Gonna Love This Sale event, you will find booths from designers and creators from all over the grid who have items displayed at huge discounts!  Also, each booth has an item exclusive for the event marked for only L$50, and many have a free hunt item hidden around their booth!

The event ends on February 28th, so don’t delay in visiting the event!

Leaving someone out in the cold can be a matter of life and death.

I know a lot of you here in Australia cannot even imagine it.

I suggest that you make an effort to understand and have someone take everything out of the freezer and then you climb in it. Then you should lay there and try and make snow angels … don’t worry that you can’t move because neither can Canadians in the snow with all their snow gear on. After 3 days in there you will get the idea of what 5 minutes outside in the frozen northland is like.

They release reports on how fast exposed skin can freeze. We practice running drills in those few seconds and it comes down to this …

If you can reach your brother and get back in the house before that time is up … your brother lives to see another winter … if not … you wave at him from the window. You can’t even have a funeral until the spring thaw …

Reindeer … let’s discuss.

Reindeer and Deer are not the same thing. I know it is confusing to some of you because you see the word “Deer” in both names and you think “Voila!! They even rhyme.” but how many times have you been told to read the whole word? See there is a “rein” part that you have completely missed. Your eyes play tricks on you right? Especially if you have been drinking the scotch already and did not wait for school to begin.

Of course they could have made it easier for you because a Reindeer is also called a Caribou. Caribour and Deer do not rhyme … I don’t care how drunk you are.

Bambi was not a Reindeer. Bambi was much cuter than most reindeer, and he is smaller than a Reindeer. That is because Bambi was a Deer. Most pictures of Santa and his “Reindeer” depict a Deer.

When we were kids we were stunted in our imagination. It never occurred to us to try and smoke flowers or make a tea out of them. We were heavily protected under the influence of all things Disney and little birds and animals that gathered around you as you sang in the forest.    And then of course people were still actively reading all that nonsense from Jane Austen and listening to those rhyming smoochy love songs. We were still waiting for the seventies to teach us about weaving flowers into our hair and letting them dry out so you could smoke them.

Yes, we basically sucked pathetically at coming up with “criminal activity” worthy of a television show or even a short film on You Tube.

We thought trying to pick flowers that were in someone else’s garden was a big deal. Like when a flower deal was going down, we would meet together and decide who was going to do look out, and who was going to steal the flower, and then who was going to carry the flower back home. We came up with a cover story for where we all were so no-one could blame us and we swore an oath that if one of us got caught …
