Multitasking by the pool

New meme – all about social media! I have been multitasking today – blogging, working on a few projects, and will help a friend with a RL paper after I finish this post. Phew!

All of my answers are geared towards SL. I do have a Facebook, but it’s not SL based and I use it for gaming and keeping track of close rl friends (because they kept bugging me for my FB link! )

1. What was the first social network you joined using your SL Avatar?

Probably Flickr…I have pictures from 2010 that I can’t view because I’m not pro…pfft.

I have been meaning to get a Facebook page, but haven’t had the push for it yet. Maybe sometime soon.

Based on usage, Plurk / 2ndhub. It’s like day and night with the amount of activity.

I think Plurk…

I know I am a bit early with this, but it is Friday where I live, so I am justifying it.  I am away from the computer for a day or three so I wanted to get this out now.

It is actually an exciting post cos it is about a hunt.  It is called The Courtyard Hunt and is to celebrate the new Courtyard Home and Garden area and to introduce you to the stores there.  You will either find the items in the Courtyard Stores or the Mainstores of the stores who have satellite stores at The Courtyard.  Hope that makes sense.

Well, lucky you did cos I have so much more furniture to show that means you could redecorate your house before Christmas!

I have furniture from the Fab 4 Event and from the Relay for Life Christmas Expo. Both are definitely worth a visit because these items are sooo good and you will find much, mush more than I have shown here.

The Courtyard is a brand new shopping mall where you can get all the latest releases from a variety of home and garden stores.  You will find something in this lovely Italian styled courtyard setting to suit all tastes that will spruce up your home and garden.

Dang, straight it is and you know what that means?  Yes, Furniture Friday…oh and the weekend…but mostly Furniture Friday.

And do I have some doozies for you today.  I have scoured the globe and you will be in awe of what these designers have come up with.  I know I am.

When I saw that the {what next} FLF item was a woodburner, I thought, “But, Winter already did one of them.  How can it be any better?” Well, then I saw it and I was in love.  This continuation of the ‘Charlotte’ items is so cool and has some animations to go with.  I have paired it up with some more of the Charlotte Floor Cushions and my cats are loving them.  These ones are Natural, Mocha and Butternut.

Don’t ya love how my cat is sleeping?  LOL
