Collaber88 has opened for this month and it is absolutely full of wonderful goodies! There are so many things I want and after a full day of trying to get in, once I was finally there I was too overwhelmed by everything I wanted I only bought one thing. For now at least, I will go back to get more later.

The one thing i did get right off was the Just Frills top from Aux. I had been seeing the work in progress pictures and I was already dying for this top before it came out. It’s so cute and perfect for summer!

Also a bit more silliness from me today. I went searching for a nice beach to take my picture and after a kind person tossed me an LM to a cute beach I totally forget the main idea and basically crop everything but water out of the picture. *facepalm* there had been cute scenery in the back, but I am kind of ditzy today I guess. Maybe I need a nap so I can better remember my plans just five minutes after making them.

This is a blog about firsts and it’s fitting that this is actually the very *first* blog meme I’ve participated in as well (So thank you very much Strawberry Singh for being my First)!  I was rather stoked that it coincided with some rather cool 80s throwback charm jewelry by (Yummy) released at Collabor88 this round  that totally inspired me to do a full on set from the era of my youth.  I hope those of you that grew up in the 80s can appreciate the nostalgia going on in here.  I fully admit to having far too much fun putting it all together and was amazed at all the awesome retro stuff out there in SL (in mesh even!). I could have totally kept going but resisted on account of it turning out to look like a scene out of “Hoarders” 1980 style.

And so without further ado… Let’s go back in time to my virginly days in SL and I’ll tell you a little about my 1st experiences.  No judging allowed! LOL

1. First SL Friend: Pixie, I met her on Help Island my first day in SL and we went through all the tutorials together and then ventured into the great unknown of the metaverse.  We stayed friends for a few years even through many weddings and lots of drama, but ultimately we grew apart.

Just a simple casual outfit today, but I figured even if I am going for casual no reason to not be cute! Easily pulled off with these adorable heart jeans I picked up a few Fifty Linden Fridays ago from Elate.
I paired it with a lovely new top from Decoy. (Well new as in a month ago. As per my running theme I am a little late with this post.) I’ll be going back for the other colors of this top for sure. It’s so cute and well made. It also have a version in each color with a pattern on it, so many uses for it and perfect for Spring and Summer.

For Pose Fair 2013, Elymode came out with these adorable Lunch boxes. They are a gacha, with two rares, and you can buy the poses for them separately. We used all six poses that come in the pack, and there are also mirrors included.

Maci and I decided to pose together, and go a little more kid like using from heads from Fashionably Dead that were out at the last round of Arcade (sorry, they are not in store currently). You can view Maci’s version later on the Hottie Cooterati Experience blog.

Morning everyone!

A couple of days ago, Strawberry Singh came out with another Meme, this time asking us what our five Second Life pet peeves are. I have to say, I was a bit nervous to do this one!

All of it is in good fun, so here goes:

1. People wearing way to many scripts at large events

This is a huge pet peeve. I don’t want to see you there with your 150 scripts on, blinging away. You lag the entire sim and make the shopping experience, which is difficult already, a thousand times worse. And sooo many do this! I go with at the most two scripts, I wish others were as courteous, but thems the breaks.

My profile does say a lot about me, and I change it frequently. I think its a great way to let others know a little about you before approaching you. Your interests, if you are involved with someone, if you don’t want to be, etc. It can also speak volumes on if I want to speak to someone as well. If your profile is empty or full of a bunch of snark, chances are I will run the other way.
