Avenue is 5, and celebrates it with the Cinque event, organised by my fave vainpyre, Mr. Winter Jefferson. Remember the events he did for Rezzable? Think again, but now anno 2012: bigger and better

One of the dresses that have been released for Cinque is Miamai‘s Stratagem, with an original drawing of the creator, Monica Outlander, or Alice Savage in RL. Can you tell that Monica is a bit obsessed with hair? It’s a gorgeous gown, and the hair attachment is separate, so you can always chose not to wear it… but for the dramatic effect… please do!!

So… my laptop died on me, and now I’m trying to take piccies on my old computer which surprises me that it actually still runs SL. No shadows though and I need to take pics at a lower resolution than I’d like to and please don’t IM me when I try to take pics, beause I’ll most likely crash! But, there is light at the end of the tunnel! I have ordered a new one and for the time being, when I take some precautions, I still can take a decent pic.

Like above for today’s look. The gorgeous Wild Horses hair is from Exile, and it’s nosecret that I’m a huge Glam Affair skin lover, so I’m wearing Roza again. The classy and beautiful 3 strand knotted pearl choker, which has given its name, Timeles, to this post, is made by my talented sis Caelan Hancroft. She’s still working on some more sets, but she’s almost ready to open her shop, Cae, and then you can get her stuff too!

I picked up this Anarkali Kameez with matching dupatta at Bilo‘s booth at Cinema. While I’d likely never wear a kameez in RL, I love dressing up in various “local” styles in SL and the Indian/Pakistani clothing is so colorful, with such gorgeous fabrics and textures that you can’t help but to feel very feminine when you wear it.

Other than Bilo, I am wearing Hair Boys & Girls 36 by Dura, skin Roza by Glam Affair, eyes Horizon by Ikon, mesh ears by Mandala and the awesome new mesh hands by SLink (which I haven’t taken off since I got them. Thanks, Siddean!!)

Do I need mesh ears? No…
Do I wear a lot of piercings? No..
Were these beauties from Mandala a steal? Hell no!!

Then why on earth did I get these? Err… because they are awesome? and because they have a gazillion (I kid you not) options for playing with the various textures for the piercings and the studs and because I’m a girl and LOVE playing with stuff like that especially when they’re fairly easy to tint and because I’m vain and stuff and just because I WANTED them.

The awesome hat and coat are Edy from Baiastice and out at Cinema right now. I love the spy-ish look that these have (although with ears like Mandala’s you won’t exactly go unnoticed when you try to swap those briefcases).

Over the past few days I have been playing some with my shape. I do that often. Little tweaks here and there, depending on the skin that I use. I have discovered that as long as I don’t touch my eyes, I will still look like “me”. But this time I did a bit more to really make Glam Affair‘s Roza stand out for me. I slightly changed the shape of my head and the mouth is actually changed quite a bit.» View author and full post…
