Kidding!  I do have more to say.  I got this preview copy of the Adventure Playground Swingset from {what next} that will be available at the Zodiac event on the 21st of March and I had to get it out and have a play straight away.  It is so much fun and has poses for singles and couples.  Awwwww!  Whatever you do though, do NOT say to your significant other, “Wanna swing?” cos this could be taken the wrong way…

Not sure about the commonsense of scootering in a storm, but my neighbour has been redecorating again and has this fab weather machine, so it was just too good a pic opportunity to miss when the lightning seemed to hit at just the right time.

I got this wonderful scooter from Focus Poses to blog and then found this outfit in bloggy items too, so today’s pics were born.

The vest and shirt are newbie from Razorblade Jacket and are called the Trekka Vest w/ Shirt.  You even get a hud with so you can fiddle with the colours and textures.  Easy peasy.

The capri pants are part of an outfit from [Beyond the Stars] at Acid Lily this week.  The top that goes with is cool too!

Skin is new from Tuli and is called Elyse.  I am wearing the Petal tone in Sultry.  This will be at the Skin Fair.  Can’t wait for that!! (March 15th-31st)

Hair is Noriko from Wasabi Pills.  I love this one with the colour change clip so that I can match it to any outfit.

The Unisex Spiked Sneakers in Ruby Red are from even.flow» View author and full post… and are an old Acid Lily item.  I have been itching for an opportunity to wear them and today was the day!

Felt like a photo moment cos my lovely neighbours have been redecorating the sim again and part of it is this cool cityscape.  I told them I always imagine they are just creating photo places for me and then just smile and nod.  I am pretty sure they think of me as ‘the annoying neighbour’ but are far too nice to admit it.    Dedicating this post to GT and Kav who I love to pieces.

So, I got out my pose cameras from {what next}, threw on some new items from the new Acid Lily round and this hair from Magika and I was good to go.

I have a theory how blue jean skirts came to be.

I figure the 4-H clothing club was meeting one day and they were supposed to make a pair of bluejeans. Only one of the girls got sewing and realized she either didn’t know how, or didn’t care, or needed to make some kind of rebellious statement that she would not be directed or controlled by any group that felt they could throw girls together and parade them around the show ring like some kind of prize steers to be auctioned off at the Stampede every year just to get more tourist dollars on account of who would come to the Stampede just to ride the lame ferris wheel when Disneyland was only a couple days drive away . . . and so she just sewed the legs together and said … “that’s MY intertretation of blue jeans and ya I realize they aren’t practical for bull riding!”

Yes, it is.  It is the new pose prop from Glitterati Poses and I am loving it.  Went and bought it today and am enjoying playing around with it.  The curtains are colour-change and the poses are fab and adjustable too, so it doesn’t matter if you are a bit shorter or taller.

I thought these poses would be great with the new round from Acid Lily and the lovely new skin called Persefone Cool Red that I got from YS&YS at The Dressing Room Fusion for a ridiculously cheap price.  The lovely eyes come with the skin and are called EyeReal Frozen. You can even grab the extra bit (at a minimal price) to make the skin work with your Lolas Tangos if you have them.

First of all, I do have to apologize for the lack of blog entries lately. It’s still being one of those things where it’s raining like hell, and my glass is overflowing. For as much as I love to blog and share my opinions in SL fashion, my mind is not fully committed at the moment. With the loss of a family member, and two major illnesses in my family, I’m struggling to be able to cope with it all. My time in SL is more devoted to attempting to forget my problems, than focusing on something like this. It’s not that I’m going to stop blogging. No, I love it. It’s just.. my lapses of when I’m able to concentrate enough to get the words out as I mean them are few. Please forgive me.

With that said. I do wish I had music for a boyfriend. Then things maybe wouldn’t be as complicated. Or living in a fairy tale world. Make believe with happy endings. I hope I’m not the only one that feels that way.

I’m a Goddamned coward, but then again so are you, and the lions roar. Powerful. I don’t know why this song hits so.. but it honestly does. It’s powerful, and longing… One of the best new songs out there.

But.. I digress. It’s time for TDR Fusion, and guess who’s a guess? JeSyLiLo! And they have a new skin out for the event, Vanla. It’s no secret that I like light skins. My complexion in real life is pale.. so it’s hard for me to see myself tanned in second life. No joke, I’m like.. white as milk. I’m so freaking white, I glow in the dark. Comes in handy though, my husband will never lose me. But.. I guess that’s the reason why I like pale skins so much. The skin is very soft, and I absolutely love the face on it. Now.. not a huge fan of the lipgloss that was added to it, but.. that’s easily fixed with a tattoo layer, so you won’t hear me making a huge fuss about that. The body could also be a bit more detailed in my opinion, but for the cheap price that it can be found in.. totally worth it.» View author and full post…
