Taking a small break from my studies, I ventured off to Neva Crystal’s sim appropriately named “Crystall Dunes“. The place is absolutely stunning and well thought out, which makes me want to pack my bags and just move in. I dragged my roommate over (who is currently rebuilding our land) to take a look and hopefully get inspired. *fingers crossed* While I was there, I had to take the time to do a picture. With life being stressful and not really any time to play to the extent I want, a quick picture gave me some solidarity and relaxed me for a while. Although this is coldLogic’s prior release (they have a great assortment of dresses that just came out which I will blog soon!) their fall collection of pants and coats seemed appropriate as I tramped through the sim.

Lately I’ve been hopping around the grid trying to find new places to go and take pictures. There is so many locations around the grid that it’s hard to keep up unless there is a list I can use. When putting together the [SL] Blogger Support site, it was an idea that I had that everyone that had the link could access a document showcasing different locations in Second Life, whether to just go hang out or take pictures.

I’ve had some time and been updating the list from the older one (we closed it due to it getting all mangled) and one of the places that is on the list is this one called Black Kite. The sim, designed and owned by theblackcloud Oh is a wonderful water sim that has many picturesque locations. Or if you just want to hang out. I found this sim from Ziki Questi and her blog. I follow Ziki on her flickr page as well. She is a definite add in my book.

As you all know, beaches are abundant in Second Life. One of these places, Crossing Currents is a great place to unwind, catch a surf and take some fabulous pictures. What is also great about the place is the ability to be able to rez objects for a short period of time, allowing one to rez some props for that perfect shot.

I hopped on over to this beach sim the other day, sporting off my fun swimsuits from ~ *RezIpsa Loc* ~ for ZombiePopcorn Brand, a brand new hair-do from [Elikatira] (found at Hair Fair – still going on till the 29th) and my trusty surfboard from !bang.
