We Will Rock You!

My recent posts have had a few items from the Men Only Hunt 3, but here is a whole lot more featuring three dudes who just love to rock. There are lots of great gifts in this hunt – the theme is Rock n Roll this time – and hunters will find pretty much everything they need to create that rock look, whatever their preferred era. Great shapes (I’m showing three here, but there are many more), skins, clothing… I had mentioned that the hunt would be epic – well it truly is. Crank the tunes, stock up on the beverages and do the whole hunt – you’ll be glad you did.

Another photo featuring some of the excellent gifts from the Nest’s Easter Egg hunt (see Pt. 1 here). I may overdose on cuteness soon, but these items are really hard to resist – especially Cheaky Pea‘s over-sized Mr. Whiskers tea set (includes cups in a range of colors) and the decorative wall plates from Cleo Design (there is an additional set not shown).

I have a few more photos in the works with more decor and this great shape from Entropy (on sale at Mens Dept), but for now, in the words of the immortal BB, That’s All Folks…

Pocket Billiards

The latest Mens Dept round has been underway for a while and it features another nice skybox from [Deco] that is great for entertaining with plenty of room for a new release pool table from End of Daze. And since billiards are best played à deux, it seemed like some charming company was in order. Of course, after breaking in the table, the evening progressed to other games…

Note that the female fashions are partly from the Golden Apple Hunt, which is a nice little hunt on the NYC sim through December 24 with 12 pretty amazing gifts at a small price of 12l each (see pics of all gifts on the hunt blog). Also both the Essences female skin from TDR Fusion and the shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle are in sales ending some time later today, but Essences has just released a new group gift skin and Anna Shapes has a similar shape gift in the Amarelo Manga» View author and full post… Christmas hunt (go into each store and find the Santa hats).

I’ve focused more on the female side of things here, but I’ll have a bit more Mens Dept fashion and some general views of the build in a later post.

Baffled Pt.2

Here are a few more pics with the build I used in my last post from Baffle (see Pt. 1 here). The store is now closed, but I hope some of you got to check it out and found some nice things at the closing sale.

I’ve used quite a lot of decor items in this post, some from the Antique Grid Show Hunt (see my previous post for more) – an easy hunt to do with some very nice gifts. I also want to thank Plato Novo of %Percent for lending me her newish enamel cabinets (the set has been released over the last few months). These would undoubtedly look great in lots of builds, both retro and modern.

Here are a few scenes inspired by the Cinema event that runs through Oct. 31. If you haven’t been you must go check it out. The event takes place in a cool build that replicates a giant Multiplex cinema with movie stills and clips playing in various themed areas (such as Sci Fi, Adult films, Action/Adventure, etc). It is really quite fun to walk around there and there is some great shopping  (and the occasional freebie/cheapie as well), featuring many of SL’s best creators.

Are you ready for some…

Autumn is on the way so I thought I’d do a small round-up of some early Fall fashions using two nice pose prop gifts from Bent and What Next that fit the theme. The clothing is a mix of hunt gifts, items from the latest Mens Dept round and a number of things from Fashion Emergency (a great store for cool fashions).

I’ve used a skin here from [Void], where a store-wide sale is underway through September (all male and female skins at 50l) and a nice shape from Vivid Avs, a relatively new store where you can find hunt & group gifts, lucky chairs and generally low prices for shapes.

Has been a while since i wasnt at wastelands, it is a place that i love so much. For those who dont know, you can play there or be a resident. This scenario was the perfect place for this look i put together. 
Things in my head are kind of messy, i guess you can see with all my diferent styles, when i least expect pop up a look, and that´s how this one came. This hair is awesome, i always loved booN hairs, and this new release is to die for. My look as you can see is inspired in a wasteland look, and i HAD to put this mask, it´s a prize from Visual Kei hunt, you have to pay only 10l, but totally worth it (you receive 3 masks, male and female version), add some GSP itens and this cool *COCO* boots and presto. Hope you liked ^ ~
