Pretty Little Villains…

Oh hello again my lovelies! I way behind this week apparently, since I am just now getting to Week 10 of the DisneyBound Challenge. I meant to take these pics with the lovely Amy Bebee days ago, but we both kept getting distracted!

I love it when Natalee chooses Villains as the character of the week. So the fact that she chose Flotsam & Jetsam the awesometastic eels from The Little Mermaid made me all happy and stuff! They are absolutely evil, but in the best way!

I decided to go casual with my outfit, while Amy went a little more dressy. We couldn’t decide who was who, but does it really matter? We both look fabulous in Maitreya Dresses and New Truth Hair! I adore Amy, she’s awesome and never says no when I ask her to pose with me!

I think Amy and I made a pretty awesome pair of Villains! Of course the poses I picked for us were perfect as well! I chose the Twinsies pose from !bang at Zodiac for the first picture. As well as the label motion ose called Sweetness, that I’ve had in my inventory for months! Until next time… Happy Shopping!

Refine Six

I’m six today (May 20)!! Yes! Six years old! Wow! I can’t believe it…..I am an old cow!

Six years ago today I rezzed in this wonderful virtual world of Second Life, driven partially by curiosity and real life works. This is the first virtual game I played and since then I never turned back.

I can’t believe it has been six years! Six years is a long time for me. Not only many things have changed for me in SL, I have been through a lot in RL for the past six years too but I am glad I have always had SL by my side on those bright or gloomy days. I see turning six as a great milestone, in fact a fabulous achievement in SL. Looking back, I have grown a lot in SL and the changes and experience I had, have come to defined who I am in SL today.

The other day I overheard a friend describing her two-year son as the “Terrible Twos”, and I thought if I have to call six years old something what would I call it?

For six years, I have found my interest, my friends and myself in SL. The journey has shaped and cultured me and make me who I am today, so I like to call it “REFINE SIX”.

Today, I like to treat myself to all things beautiful. I have been admiring this Origami Galliano Dress from ChicZafari for some time now and finally bought it as a rezz day present to myself; and I am lucky to have this beautiful Iconic Heels from BSD Design and the Persia Clutch from Pure Poison that when I put all together, is a well defined look. Streaks of Pink in my Vanilla, Kirsten’s Basics

Magenta Devinna of Not Quite Pink did a Basics post and it reminded me of the “beauty base zero” post done by Portia Pexington and I learned of that one when I read the base zero post done by Gogo. I always meant to do the latter and never did and since I was reminded of it when I read this Basics post, I decided to chime in with the base items that are almost always on Kirsten.

Hair: I don’t really see hair as a base item where my avatar is concerned because I change it SO often. However I do wear particular colors as a “base.” Exile- I always wear Vanilla and I was so happy that with the new HUD my favorite color was still there. I often add streaks of pink to my vanilla now that I have several HUD styles to play with so far. Truth- I love truth and probably wear it the most. My favorite color used to be seaspray, but it was always the closest to what I really love in blonde because all of the light blondes were a little too white or a little too yellow for me.» View author and full post…

Haiku’s and Tiara’s…

Good morning again my lovelies! It’s that time of week where I try really hard to do something cute for Strawberry Singh’s Meme. This week was Haiku week, boy was it interesting. I asked friends for help, and got lots of fun ideas!

It took me HOURS (no 1 or 2, try 20 or so) to come up with something that my OCD was totally ok with. I didn’t wanna sound too silly, which is weird right? Because isn’t that what this was about? So I ended up throwing all the things I love together and BAM… the magic was made!

I had more fun putting together this outfit then I should really admit. Just like in RL, I over accessorized a sweatshirt and jean shorts, what you can’t see is I’m wearing flip flops with my tiara! I think I might be obsessed with this tiara!
