Warmer Days
I love that now it’s getting warmer that we’re getting more summery clothes in Second Life.
It’s stuff I couldn’t dream to wear in reality to I like to indulge in SL when it comes to floaty, pretty, girly stuff.
The new release from DCNY at Zodiac is just the type of floaty that I love. It’s a beautiful set that is delicate and sweet looking. I was even more impressed that it’s two separate parts meaning the skirt and top can be used separately or if you get more than one colour you can mix and match.
Of course I went for green. I think it’s probably my favourite colour.

World Goth Fair – Bling Bling!
Well, I lied, there is no actual ‘bling’ in this post. What did you think this was, 2005?!?! hehehe. Today I bring you some of the jewellery pretties from World Goth Fair. There were so many to choose from so I tried to fit as many in here as I could without doing eleventy billion photos.
First up is a well detailed piercing set from ellabella, a new to me piercing store. The earrings are from a full set from adoness that come with a choker as well in a couple of colours. The ring is in a gacha from Chaos, Panic and Disorder along with two necklaces from the same store.
Bliensen + Mai Tai have a few cute necklaces all in mesh and very well textured. The Goth Moth bow tie choker also comes in a version for the guys. The Cameo choker from DemotiK is a great addition as a choker on it’s own or to add to system layer layer shirt to give it a fancy collar.
Lastly The Little Bat have the World Goth Day head in a cute little mesh necklace and Souzou Eien have a really nice circlet and matching piercing set. Both come in a Dark Iron or a Light Steel colour and a mixture of colours.» View author and full post…
The Catnip Carnival opens today (bit photo heavy)
Happy Saturday, lovelies. Today sparks the opening of The Catnip Carnival, a special event brought to you by Avatars for Animals. Avatars for Animals main goal is to focus on small, underfunded shelters and welfare groups. That tiny back road humane society with very little pocket change, but an endless number of needy paws and hungry mouths. A small shelter, that’s overcrowded, and understaffed. The places that even a little bit of pocket change means the world to.
Please come check out the carnival and donate to this great project if you are able to.
I even have a Limo waiting for you ———-> Head to The Catnip Carnival!

Must Visit! Avatars For Animals presents ‘The Catnip Carnival’
The ever-amazing Harlow Heslop is bringing a fantastic charity event to the grid under the banner ‘Avatars For Animals’ .
Harlow is passionate about animal welfare, and has decided that it would be a good idea to raise funds in-world for small and very often underfunded shelters and welfare groups. I couldn’t agree more, and I’m especially excited about the first event, ‘The Catnip Carnival’, which will begin tomorrow. (Location has yet to be disclosed, will update when I know more!)
‘The Catnip Carnival’ will feature some FANTASTIC designers (are you ready for this?!) Alouette, Adorkable Poses, Cae, Cheeky Pea, Fri.day, Gos Boutique, Izzie’s, Peqe, Pixel Mode and Truth, and will run from May 18th -May 26th.
This event will raise funds for a no-kill shelter in Louisiana, USA, called ‘River Cities Humane Society For Cats‘. You can read all about Harlow’s reasons for selecting this worthy cause by visiting her wonderful blog.
I’m sure by now you know that I am obsessed with all things feline, so this event instantly appeals to me. The quality of the content creators who will be participating as well as the cause for which the monies are being raised make this an absolute must-see. I’m not spending any Lindens until I’ve visited this event as I have a feeling I will be well and truly wiped out by it!
I really hope you are excited about this as much as I am too.» View author and full post…
World Goth Fair – Skins & Eyes, Oh My
Todays World Goth Fair post focuses on skin and eyes. The Plastik have released a new gothly pale skin for the event and it comes in 8 different versions along with eye liner layers, freckle layers, cleavage enhancement layers and mesh breast appliers. I wanted to get some close ups of the different faces of the 8 versions so I included some eyes you can find at the fair from a few different places as well. All of the eyes mentioned today come with mesh options as well so it’s great for those that like to mix and match their eyes for unique looks.
The Heavy face has some nice dark eyeshadow shading and an almost Queen Amidala style lipstick. The eyes in this shot from Rue are from the Pluto range and have some gorgeous shades of blue.
The Intense face darkens the eyeshadow and lightens the lipstick from the Heavy version. The Rue Pluto eyes in the Manx set feature very vibrant greens.
The Liner face is a nice simple make up liner with no lipstick. Perfect for those that like to add their own lipsticks. The Korat set from Rue Pluto eyes has some very nice blue / purple combinations with a mixture of pale and dark eyes.» View author and full post…
Gold!
This fortnights theme for Perfect Wardrobe is Gold! So its a perfect excuse to go all out for the glitz and glam. I am wearing a necklace by ~Pepper~ which is in an Egyptian style and the detailing is really very nicely done.
I’ve also visited FaMESHed for a shopping raid and love love love this jacket from the Secret Store, so much so I’ve been wearing it since Sunday and was glad that the ~Pepper~ necklace went with it so I could blog it and not take it off for another day! I want one in RL well like one in every colour in RL.
My jeans are by [monso] for FaMESHed and I think their definitely up there with my fave SL jeans. They fit perfectly, have awesome detailing and they don’t look like I’m stuck in a random squat which is always a winner
Finally I wanted to mention my lovely eyes by IKON. I’ve been wearing the same eyes for ages and ages now but have seen lots of photos and so when I spotted the Destiny Eyes at The Boutique event I decided I would try them out and I was not disappointed at all.» View author and full post…
