Evening Lovelies! <3

The Liaison Collaborative- The Boutique opened its doors for another round on May 15th and will run until June 10th.

As soon as I saw this adorable Berry dress by Valentina E., I knew I had to get it. To me, the brand is getting better and better with each release they put out.

I paired it with the Ikon Destiny eyes and *~*HopScotch*~* Springy Nails. The nails are a hud that can be used with Slink hands.

Belleza has five fantastic versions of their Ava skin out at the event as well. I adore the bold makeup’s, and of course had to get all five. Below is my favorite as one picture, and then the other four:

So.. I’m kinda stuck in one place, unable to do much of anything, not understanding Maya because.. seriously, I think I could learn Chinese faster than I could this thing.. so I thought.. mom’s laptop has Photoshop . why the hell am I wasting time? So.. I tried to do another look for the poster contest model search thing. Chandni from Hopscotch was incredibly kind in making a pose for me to use, woman power, I think she’s also going to sell it in her store too. So.. I nagged for my tablet to be brought, and my mom had like no say, it was getting installed into her laptop, and I was going to do pretty pictures. Because.. well, fuck all, that’s why. So.. I finally got the look that I wanted to make, a Rosie the Riveter look for this new amazing Truth hair that I have, doesn’t it look amazing? I also bought the new skin for Essences, Opera, after looking at it for like an hour deciding if I was going to buy it or not. Literally. I have been staring at it for days, hours total, trying to talk me into it, or out of it, finally I just went and bought it, and no shame, I adore the softness in the face for this skin, and the detail of it, lovely.

Recently, someone said to me “how can you blog (X designer)!?! (X designer) is such a JERK.” No, I will not name names. It’s not really my style. But in this particular case, I don’t personally know X Designer. Funny thing is, neither did the person telling me X Designer is a jerk. That person heard it from a friend. That friend’s friend dated X Designer (supposedly). Now, I’m sure the person who told me this believes it to be true. I’m sure the friend of that person believes it. Maybe even the original source believes it. But I don’t know any of those people, and I don’t know the designer. The designer is incredibly talented, and I love the work… and that, my dear readers, is why I blog X Designer.

I don’t personally know a lot of the designers I blog. Even many of the designers I officially blog for, I really don’t know. I have plenty of people I consider friends that are designers, and these are people I know, but that’s more the exception than the rule. I have like 65k in my inventory. I’ve probably never even spoken to the majority of the designers who have made these items, let alone gotten to know them well enough to judge for myself, firsthand, what kind of person they are.» View author and full post…

As I’m sure regular readers know I work in real life (Shh! I know we don’t like to talk about that!) so my time in-world is often limited.  This means I have to play ‘catch-up’ when I finally come back in, and I have to say that at the moment Second Life is really overwhelming me due to the amount of events that are currently running on the grid. I shouldn’t complain too much though, it’s a good time to be an avatar, especially if you want to be a super-stylish one too!

Problem for me as a blogger is that there are so many events in-world that I know I can’t possibly do justice to them all on these pages. You have to appreciate that these kinds of occasions take weeks of planning and organising so it’s only fair that when they begin they receive the quality coverage they deserve.

Perhaps one of my issues is that when I attend an event I like to take my time and wander around them, and then I  get distracted, go back to stores repeatedly and have another look, and then forget where I saw things that really caught my eye in the first place.» View author and full post…

TLC’s The Boutique is open again, and this round the theme is Fresh! With a gorgeous pallate and so many gorgeous goodies

This round sees a guest appearance from ELIKATIRA!  Yep, there are three hairs out all at The Boutique, this one is the cutie Enjoy! and Enjoy I shall!  There are so many goodies at this round that I can’t even begin to squee loud enough, this has soon turned into one of the must attend events on the grid! The top I am wearing is from Baiastice, and there is also a skirt to mix and match with it, and both are available in a bunch of colours, I really wanted to go for a floraly yellow today tho!   So I was super happy when the Izzies socks came in a faded yellow!!! (among other colours) and they are made to fit with SLink feet with appliers, so YAYYYYYY! no ugly blog sock feet, just pretty ones!    Also worn is a new skirt  from Cute Poison!  It comes in various denim washes and is a mesh beauty!   Perfect staple for summer  I’m wearing SLink nail appliers too, and the gorgeous pattern is from Hopscotch for The Boutique… several available, yay!» View author and full post…

I’ve never done a backshot, so.. why the hell not? These leggings are so cute in the back that I just had to do them. Thanks for them, Jim, you did an amazing job at them! Totally love them! And in all honesty, I completely made the whole outfit around these leggings.

So.. today’s mother’s day, and even though out of personal reasons I don’t celebrate it, I still decided to do something in mind with it.. and well, the only thing that came to mind was Ozzy’s ‘Mamma, I’m coming home’. Also.. the pose using today is from Hopscotch, and only available at a discount today.. DON’T MISS OUT! In all honesty, I’m getting rather lame with these descriptions, and rants.. so.. without further ado, enjoy the credits!

I had to title this post the way I did. I mean look at the first picture for Aladdin and Jasmine. I an not going to admit to how many looks I tried before I settled on this outfit for my Jasmine.
This picture was a total accident. I took one where “Aladdin’s” eyes were closed and when I went to take the picture again, my eyes were closed. I hacked them together so that both our eyes were closed. It seems all sweet and loving.
