I’m going to be honest… I normally stay away from fairs. Not because I have anything against them whatsoever, but I always end up spending WAY TOO MUCH! Then again, that’s not going to stop me from telling you about The Garage Fashion Fair that starts on the 15th of May and runs until the 31st. It looks like it’s going to be a nice mix of all types of styles which makes me excited. And it’s also given me a chance to learn about some stores I’ve never been to.

So, Carmelo and I had a date a few days ago. We decided to go dancing and he put on the awesome Kauna suit from the FaMESHed event. Well, of course, I couldn’t let my man be all sexy by himself. I was digging through my inventory when I came across the Cynful Draped Dress in Red Suede that I got a while back at TDR Fusion. What can I say? He liked my booty in it.

Anyway, if you know me then you know I’m a sucker for a good white dress, or black, or really any color. Below, you’ll see the stylized Cynful Draped Dress in Solid White. I was looking at this picture while I was editing it and to most people, it’s a simple blogger pic. Nothing spectacular, just a way to showcase wonderful items from Second Life. But, it brought out this idea of being vulnerable and tough all at the same time. The idea that someone may look tough on the outside, but knowing that sometimes… on the inside, they’re extremely fragile. I don’t think I would describe myself in these exact terms, but I know what it’s like to have to be strong, be the rock when all you want to do is crumble, just a little it and hope someone catches you. There probably isn’t a real reason for all this babble, but to maybe know that things aren’t always as they appear. A lot of times there is so much more to a person than what you see. Sometimes it is the greatest surprise you could ever wish for and other times it’s the hugest disappointment ever. Though, I suppose that’s life.

I’m having one of those days where I have so much to say and yet I don’t want to say anything at all. You know when you have things you want to talk about, but at the same time you don’t want to acknowledge some of them because they don’t deserve the attention. But then there are other things that are going on that you want to scream from the rooftops, but at the same time you want them all for yourself. Yeah, I’m a little greedy in that sense

Though, I will say that I’m still playing catch up with blog posts and I’m sorry to anyone who’s been waiting for me to blog their stuff. I’ve been busy RL and a little preoccupied SL Today, however, I was able to get a post up and it’s featuring a sexy fun dress from [Context]. If you haven’t been to see Kennef’s stuff then I recommend getting down to the store. He’s awesome items and definitely some things with personality! In fact, I think he’s been working on tons of new stuff so even better Oh, and did you know that Boudoir does prefabs? This week’s Red Solo Cup Challenge is strength. What gives us strength or what it means to us. Having seen quite a bit in my life, there are so many things that define strength for me.

Though, right now, I would have to say that strength is the ability to shake things off and move ahead. It’s the desire to grab a hold of something and letting it take you in a new direction. Strength is not letting people pull you down and giving in to their negativity. I would also say it’s the ability to open your heart when all you wanted to do was close it down. Being strong comes from within, and sometimes we forget it’s there, but if you’re lucky like me… your friends will always remind you where to find it. That’s what strength is to me.

I could babble on about how great I feel at the moment, but maybe I’ve done enough of that in my past few posts. The only other thing I can really talk about is the retail therapy I’ve been subscribing to and the fact that it’s not helping my shopaholic tendencies. I mean has anyone made it down to the FaMESHed birthday event yet? I dropped so many lindens on some great stuff! Then there’s the decorating of my new skybox which I might take photos of and post up. Oh and let me not forget about the fact that Truth has extended his hair sale for at least another week. I’m still in my thoughtful mood, but I don’t even think I have words right now. Though, I guess I will say this and it’s more of a reminder to myself. Don’t let someone ruin you, and never doubt who you truly are no matter what anyone says. Always rely on your friends when you need a hand to hold you up. Never let something good pass you by even if it scares you. And take chances because sometimes the risk is worth the pay out.

Well, I’ve found my SL has been a little crazy these past few days. It’s got me thinking about relationships, people, and feelings in general. I wonder if it’s possible to fall in love with someone after only knowing them a few days. And if that’s possible, is it that easy to forget a person you’ve been with for a long time. I’d like to think you don’t just disregard someone when it’s all over, but we all move on at different speeds. Some relationships we never move on from and others… well, I suppose others may end so badly that we try to pick up and go as fast as possible.

There is one relationship I do want to have. It’s with my Lolas Tango and the new boobie stuff from *VERSHE*. She’s already got some great stuff out, so if you like to wear them big mesh boobies then you have even more options So, go check it out and ignore me while I continue pondering love which means I’ll end up with a headache because it never makes sense.

More Magic no Magic cuteness! I love freckles, I sport some in RL but don’t normally wear them in SL, I have no idea why though they are so gorgeous!
