My fav gacha store came up trumps yet again. Here I am broke and I managed to create a wonderful spot of interest in my SL lounge for just 2 L! The television is one prim..isnt that marvellous?! The tv stand is also just one prim. Now, the trick is to play the gacha machine and try to get one of each…its only 1L a go and each item is transferable…so you can act all generous and hand any you don’t want to keep to your friends yay! If you touch the button on the top left, its switches the set on, the button top right changes the channels (yes really!) I’m not sure how many stations it has..but its FUN playing around with it. Great vintage look with its bent ariel…the stand is wood and kinda 70′s style…dark wood…absolutely terrific!

Ahhh just what I needed…a splash of colour in Winter…Zinnias has released this just in time to warm the cockles of my heart on a windy icy day. The Retro Glam Acapulco Collection is just so juicy but not in a Summer type of fashion (although this collection would be useful all year round) I was really pleased to see the curly lounge chair..I have this in a zesty blue….the gorgeous tone is now a more green verdigris shade…slightly shabby chic…and a stylish shape. The poses are just tremendous…totally loving the phone one, it even gives you a phone to wear !

Also part of this set is the pillow pile…to-die-for shades and some awesome animations again, I’m having a mug of coffee and waiting for the phone to ring…such a darling little telephone table, with a stunning candelabra, adore the little sprays of gems that dangle from the arms…all these tiny details that really add such a lot of charm to a piece.

I managed to lure Player to come take a few minutes out of his day, he snapped up a cigarette from the table and struck a pose…and this is what makes these pieces so good…beautifully made..expertly executed , stylish and very very good animations, all this and also low prim…I really love the peeling paint effect on the table..so realistic and sweet…of course…the drapes that go with this collection are a wonderful shade of pink and instantly won a place in my heart!» View author and full post…

So I checked my RL bank account and then paid my tier fee and the first port of call was End of Daze (EoD)  Although I did have a change of heart and a quick search of my invent showed that I have too many Xmas trees to buy more so I didn’t buy the ones I drooled over at but I treated myself to a couple of things.

Of course I have TVs in SL because quite frankly they’re so common but I simply don’t have one as realistic as this one.  Obviously this isn’t a working TV but the detail real right down to the plug in the wall and the sheen on the glass is so realistic.  A 100Lds is such a good price for such details.

And yes this is my sky home.  Shabby chic on land super cool in the sky and this dresser is so neat it fits in my sky home beautifully.  Mentioned this in my last post and I knew as soon as I had some spare Lindens I would treat myself and now I have.

Not overloaded with poses but more than enough to make sitting there a pleasure.  The table dressings are rezzable and so is the brush with a brushing AO.  A dark coloured item but not oversized and heavy looking.  Lovely attention to detail such as the drawer handles are the same pattern as on the stool.» View author and full post…

The reason I’ve made the “and” more pronounced is because at this prim count you too could have a home on your land and your sky.

I remember having flat basic building platforms that had more prims than this sweetie.  A lowly 8(4) prim count for all of this.

Big picture window so make sure you rezz it when you can capture an amazing sunset/sunrise.

Look at the texturing.  None of that ugly free wood plank look.  Perfectly in proportion to the average AV.

Apart from the open window this is the only feature in this home and the rest is a blank canvas.I’ve not used windlight at all just the normal environmental settings and you can see how gorgeous the texturing is.  Hop on the grey office chair and TP to the rezzed demo and you too will be able to see that this is a great offer. A small shop on an excellent shopping sim.  They have a couple of weird things, Flying Toast carpet, some really good and low prim wall decorations and for those with Brats, I mean kiddies, or those who are a child at heart a Dino Gatcha that gives you a rather good childs rocker but the best is this Mesh skyhome called Camelot and it’s only 8(4)prims and 50Lds!» View author and full post…

The gifts keep on coming from the Silver Lining Hunt…what a deeeelicious mix of fashion & decor ! A big squishhhhhy hug to all the fabulous designers in this hunt, who recognise I’m not the worlds best hunter and sent me a copy of their gifts, thank you <3 Above I am wearing a delicate little dress from ezura XUE…now this is the great thing about hunts…you get to search out some terrific prizes and also find stores you havent seen before…win win no? I had already been to try to find this sweet frock out..and failed miserably, and I so so SO wanted to get it….layers of frothy lace…and a perfectly shaped over skirt…bared shoulders for added wow factor (the stole is mine and not now available sowwy!) I’m also wearing the snuggly Ugg style boots from Intrepid…essential stomping about gear…

One of my most favourite Furniture stores has a massive sale on for the next few days…you seriously don’t want to miss it ! I’m lounging about on the new Southern Comfort bench…plenty of poses to keep even the most demanding of Diva’s happy, and low prim too. Above me is one of the totally gorgeous Holiday wreaths…I cant bear those flat alpha type ones…and this is so realistic and lush.

I also was treated to the rocking chair and study chair from the Southern Comfort range. I’ve got a LOT of rocking chairs in my inventory..but none match up to this…the poses are lovely…the rocking motion is smooth and fluid, and I SO love the upholstery on these, very rich.

If you’re in the mood for decorating your home for Christmas theres plenty to see…the set of angels comes in two sizes – this is the big..a real statement piece. Outside the store at the front are quite a few 50L items to snap up…sooperdooper cute pretties! Dont forget that this huge sale is only on until the 25th November…dashhhhhhh! I know we all find it hard to keep a spare slot free for a new group these days…but there are some you really do need to be in. Especially if you’re a decor freak like  moi! [CIRA] have a superb VIP gifty at the moment, it’s the Sound City Studio pictured above…such a lovely build..stylishly coloured with violet accents on the walls and frontage…only 47 prims !

If you’re super fast you might also be able to find the light as a feather deco set that compliments the Sound City Studio..in the pack is this trio of vases…

Also this gorgeous feather surrounded mirror, which is also colour change. (Literally a squillion colours too)

Andddd…the matching feather edged light pendant as above…(also colour change)….The Four walls hunt ends today…so speed over and see if you can rustle it up…btw…if youre into pianos as Iam..the one I’m sat at is by prim possible…YES, it’s just one solitary prim, it isn’t temp rezzed…and it costs just one linden dollar ! It plays just one tune, the more expensive models from this store play heaps..but as a decor item that wont break your prim bank…its a winner no?

This is the most perfect fireplace for everyone.  We’re talking about such low prims and because of the options in the menu you have you can literally furnish a whole small room or cosy nook.  So you get the basic fireplace which including the books, plant, ladder etc adds up to a small 10 prims however when you click on the fire surround you get a whole selection of seating to suit all tastes and also a lovely fire surround/bench. This photo shows the fire, bench and the old fashioned chairs.  Not a vast anount of poses but enough to keep everyone sitting happily.  You can rezz 1 chair or even more and once rezzed move them to any position you like.

This is the sofa and I love it’s unstructured and yet shaped soft plump cushions.  Limited poses and yet they’re not the bog standard and have been made to  make you fit so well into the sofas folds.

Last option is the stools which you can see are big and padded and only 2 prims each!  Again you have the choice of how many you want to rezz and once rezzed you can move them to anyplace you want.  Now I can’t find poses in these however at such low prims you can easily use a lovely cushion or add a pose ball.» View author and full post…
