Only crashing saved me from spending all my Lindens in American Bazaar, although I have to admit their clothes are a lot more affordable than I thought so I’ve managed to snag a couple of things and I will be heading back there later because I saw some very cheeky and slightly tarty tops that I want.  Until then let me show you their kind offering for the SAH (suicide awareness hunt) and it’s cute and quality.  A mesh dress shaded with pastel colours and a slighty satin sheen.  A bunched up bootilicious skirt and off the shoulder top.  Pretty darn nice. Almost forgot to mention that there is a couple of hunts going on so even more reason to call in and for the boys I noticed a really good mens selection of clothes.

I know that at this moment there are some amazingly big hunts going on but lets not forget that a lot of them have a message of sadness, education and hope behind them and what represents this more than the Suicide Awareness Hunt.  At this time of year when the Christmas Spirit seems to be foisted on us no matter how we feel it can just make you feel worse.  Not everyone is surrounded by love and safetly or even if they ARE surrounded by love and safety they just can’t feel it.  This is a hard time for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, debt, lonliness, ill health, abuse, but the one thing we all share is WE ARE NOT ALONE!» View author and full post…

To think I resisted the shagging reindeer, the dead hanging reindeer and even the dance stage where we can all have a dance not around our handbags but a disemboweled Reindeer.

The best clubs in SL have Pixlights club lightening and effects.  They are so good you can walk through the showrooms with them and although they’re all on and flashing there is no lag.  But you don’t have to have a club to own their lights.  So reasonably priced so I picked up my new Crimbo tree light for 90Lds.

The “Oops” is the Suicide Hunt doesn’t start till tomorrow (15th Nov) but of course some people have jumped the gun and already set their items out so if you’ve not had much luck start again and you will find some great things.

This top was sent to me by Oursinette Bruun, as her SAH gift,  and sometimes you dread that because what happens if it’s naff and horrible but what a sigh of relief I gave when I tried it on.  Normally it takes a time to get a complete look ready, chosing the hair, bottoms, shoes etc but as soon as I put on this grey/black mesh top it was so easy.  It’s a  proper workable wearable shirt which as soon as I put it on I knew it would look great with jeans or shorts .  Comes with a yellow wrist band and a bright yellow ribbon on the back so wear it and send out the signal that it’s ok to be lost and there are people who understand and want to help.

Her shop OPOPOP  is a new shop to me mainly mesh with a small selection of non mesh upstairs.  Lots of lovely demos and new colours and styles that even a hardened SLer like me found a bunch of demos to try on and when payday comes around there is a sexy denim overall that I want.  Till then more than pleased with this top.  It’s a keeper.» View author and full post…

Meandering around SL like I do I came across this shop and I was stuck.  Stuck because I couldn’t for the life of me decide on which outfit to buy to showcase it’s serious sexy clothes but just as I decided to go away and come back another day my eyes fell upon a FREEBIE. For some strange reason it’s titled “Tiny Giftbox” which it most certainly isn’t because not only does it contain a great detailed (non mesh) corset with prim ruffles but also a great looking boa and an even better pair of black shoes with black rose details and each item on it’s own is shop quality. If this is the quality of the Freebie then I’d will be happy spending my Lindens there when I can work out which outfit I want.
OH I’ve just popped back to the shop and just at the front door is a sign is a special offer of 75Lds off anything (min purchase of 50Lds) so go BUY and fill out the notecard and wooo hoo I’m shopping now!

Autumnal gardening has never been so much fun.  I’ve Blogged a “Moon_Sha” (stands for Moon Shadow) garden’s before (the lovely lavender or Thyme which for a low, low of 3 prims you get masses of details).  This isn’t 3 prims it’s 25 but it’s a BIG garden packed with so much fruits and veg just waiting to be either harvested or for you to use one of the poses in it and hide from the big wide world.  This one cost 200Lds but they also have a smaller version, 15 Prims for 150Lds which is equally impressive and will fit most people’s homes. Another lovely detail is that you touch a plant and you get one to eat so touch the strawberry and one is sent to you, touch a sweetcorn and you get given one.  So cute.

You must also check out the rice paddy, it’s so cute and because so low primmed I actually have 2 of them rezzed next to my small Japanese home.

Moon-Sha is a very Gorean based shop and sim but I’ve found so many items there that fit into my homes so even if your not into that Gor lifestyle you will not be disappointed and do not ignore the small stalls outside, lots of MM boards so you never know your luck might be in.» View author and full post…

So much sewing so little time.  One of my FAVOURITE shops in SL is MMGraffiti’s.  Reasonable priced for some damned fine stuff in fact my latest home is from them and so is this sewing machine.  OK it’s not really supposed to be this big but since it’s editable I thought I’d have a bit of fun.  All of this is actually 5 Prims!!! all of it including the measuring tape, ribbon, thread snipper and even buttons in the drawer.

And there it is next to me  at it’s more normal size.  Priced at 110Lds how reasonable and you can pick up equally as reasonably prices and low primmed detailed accessories. Sorry for all the photos but I had to pop back to the shop and I couldn’t resist showing the excellent low primmed reasonably priced accessories you can get to make a whole sewing room.  That bobbin holder is only 5 prims and 88Lds and the bobbins come as 2 and are only 1 prim and mean this shop is primtastic.  Furniture, garden stuff, fun stuff, low prim and on and on.

Sadly this amazingly detailed sewing, crafting backpack and belt will not be at the sooo CHEAP price of 30Lds anymore.  This comes from …… and it’s a must to Sub to so in future when they put out notices for their great offers you won’t miss it.  A lovely big shopping area, with everything from “bang on trend” mesh clothes to Gor type clothes and mesh templates.  A great place to stroll around and just relax and maybe even treat  yourself..  Big LBs you can’t miss and even bigger gift boxes dotted around and I’ve snagged the lot and they have some really great gifties.  Had to come back to get the LM and I’ve noticed the Medieval Lawnmower which is a pushable sheep in a wheelbarrow that eats the grass…SOOO CUTE.» View author and full post…

Even though the cardigan is a bright red slouchy casual cardigan once I put on the “coochie cutters” shorts I knew I could get away with the killer heels.  Cardigan is mesh and comes as an all in one with a T-shirt.  The shorts are really short shorts and as you can see great details even down to the frayed edges.  Samie outfit is the name but the shoes are appropriately called Spyke Pumps

Close up on the Killer Heels and they can kill you with those vicious spiked thin heels to the very pokey spikes.  Now they come with an easy to use Hud, you can also change the size by clicking on them but the HUD allows you to also change the skin tone.  You get a choice of colours and a  slider for tweaking but this gives me a chance to explain how you can type in the actual skin colour number which should mean the skin of your AV and your shoe skin should be identical or as near damn. Now I use phoenix but it should be the same for most SL viewers.  So here it is step by step…

SKIN MATCHING 101

ADVANCE then down to UI, a new window opens then go down all the way to the bottom and click “SHOW COLOUR UNDER CURSOR” and Voila.  If you look at the bottom right hand of your screen, just above your music volume slider, you will see tiny numbers and they relate to whatever your cursor is hovering over at the time.  So when you want to match AV skin to shoe skin you place the cursor at roughly the ankle and record the numbers, eg 114,94,71.» View author and full post…

They have added  more Mesh clothing at yet again at such a reasonable price.  A chunky knit off the shoulder jumper called Lola 3 which I think looks very “studenty” amd at 30Lds it’s a students price.   This is a BIG shop a total of 3 floors mainly of non mesh clothing and in fact they have a vast amount of LBs for those who have time to spare but happily for us mesh lovers they’re expanding their mesh clothing line most of which is on the wall next to the LBs and the rest is around the New Section and middle of the ground floor.  All very competitvely priced as well.

Take pity on me but I was trying to capture a dancing pose because thats exactly what this outfit made me think of, something hot and exotic however it’s called Ingrid which makes me think of cooler climates.  However look closely at the skirt and although it comes with the top I am wearing it’s actually a pretty versatile skirt.  I teamed it up with a jumper  but lost the photo which is a shame but trust me wear it as a hot babe dancer or a wrapped up chilly girl it really works.» View author and full post…
