Zebra Crossing
Please note: no zebra’s were harmed in the making of this post. It’s faux all the way with zebra being my inspiration for the look. I found the fab zebra printed vest and clutch from C’est la vie and set about putting together a casual look. The pants are from the ::K:: label also available at C’est la vie.
I headed over to Mayfair for a spot of sight seeing, admiring the architecture of this fabulous build.
If you’re at a loss for something to do and you appreciate art, head on over to the Avalon Art District for a walk around the galleries. Something nice to do with your partner, friend or by yourself.

There are also some amazing new releases from the April cycle of Collabor88. The theme is “Kitsch”. I can just imagine how much fun all the designers had, while making their creation for this quirky theme. There is a beautiful new skin from -Glam Affair-, called “Margot”. As all of aida Ewing’s skins, she is absolutely stunning! The face is to die for and she has the most perfect pouty lips! I could not resist wearing this skin for this post. Make sure you try on demo ASAP!
I also chose to wear another Collabor88 exclusive for this post. It is a fabulous new hairstyle from LaViere, called “Gisele”. Azure Electricteeth not only makes some of my most favorite clothes on the grid, but hair as well. This style is long, chic and sexy. Another item you must go and demo right away!

Spring Into Spring
Ladies Who Lunch (LWL) is celebrating spring with a new collection and I couldn’t resist this stunning blazer and shorts set in Spring Green that became available after their Fashion Show with Avenue on Sunday (31st March). There are 150 new pieces created by LWL so we won’t be short of impeccable fashion to bring in the new season.

I Am Woman Hear Me Roar
Hello reader. Yes I say reader because I think I might have one. I am feeling a little dejected because I can’t seem to get my blog on the feeds and while I’m a million miles away from the best blogs in terms of production values, I don’t think Chalice In Wonderland is that hideous that it can’t link in with at least some of the SL fashion feeds. I’m in my fifth year of blogging and now must deduce that I’m not hitting the mark in terms of interest. I shall give it some thought as to whether I start up another one and change my blogging style completely.
Today I’m showing off a little number I pieced together featuring LeeZu and Mimikri. I was attempting a soft yet edgy look and I rather like the mix of urban and vintage styles.
I have to mention the Lolita Espadrille shoes I’m wearing from Gos. AMAZING. Go buy, go buy.

A Little Fun With a New Friend
This week, I had the joy of working with my very first fashion show, practicing walks, getting to know other models in this amazing setting, learning, absorbing and listening.
One of the new people, someone I’d seen in passing in several environments but someone I had not worked with previously, was Paradox Messmer aka Dox.
When I realized that my first project with DEJAVOGUE also would include Dox, I realized how much bigger this fashion world was getting for me. He’s got one of those big personalities, almost as big as his wild hair!
We picked some dark duds and showcased some pose sets from one of the three designers who create and work on Image Essentials property, Demise of Flight.
The ferocity of the look was made more fun by sharing it with someone interesting, and someone who has the same interests, fashion and modeling, and brought his own sense of style to the table.
You’d think by these photos that we’re a bit closer than we actually are, but as he’s easy on the eyes and fun so who knows. Life is funny that way, in a good way. If you haven’t seen him on the runway, you will soon.

Life’s funny. I’ve been so out of sorts all week and today is no exception. Workwise, its been a slammer. I hate it when my First Life gets in the way of my Second Life. Well to be honest, I am equal opportunity, I hate it when my Second Life gets in the way of my First Life too. Oh wait, and most of all I hate it when my work life gets in the way of my personal life! I think retirement is wasted on the elderly(sorry mom and dad). One of my mum’s most cherished memories of me is when my kindergarten teacher asked me to say what I wanted to be when I grew up to which I immediately replied, “I want to be retired.” Hey I always did like to dream big! But well, I didn’t marry it, or earn it, so here I am.
I am having a casual weekend, and I hope you all are too. Don’t forget tomorrow is the Tribute to Galliano Show, I can’t believe Fashion For Life is already winding down, last I heard, over four million has been raised.
