(I’m still playing catch-up on the blog, but I have to be honest, I’m not surprised. See, I’m not the kind of girl to write a few lines about something, attach a quick-snap and leave it at that. I like to waffle and write a bit more than you’ll perhaps see on some other Second Life blogs, so I’m not going to give myself a hard time about being behind)

I really enjoyed the last Cosmetics Fair, so I’m stoked that there is a Summer Edition running until June 30^th.  I LOVE cosmetics in SL, something I’ve mentioned countless times so I won’t rant on again and again about how awesome they are. But they are.

The Summer Edition is full of vibrant juicy colours and this time also includes LOADS of nail appliers for the Slink hands. It’s incredibly hard to visit on a budget, so don’t even try, but I do recommend looking out for freebies and dollarbies that are available.  I think the prices are more reasonable this round in general actually.

I had a bijou gander and really struggled to rez everything on display, but once I had I was really impressed by the selection of cosmetics on offer this round. » View author and full post…

So today I’ve been thinking a lot about music in Second Life, amongst other things. I love live music outside of SL, in my ‘first life’ if you can call it that, and I’ve lost count of how many live shows I’ve been to over my life. It all started when I was 9 and my mum took em to see Blink 182. I got backstage because I was a cute kid and my uncle worked at the venue, only to tell the men I later idolised through my teenage years that I ‘liked New Found Glory better’. Since then I’ve been mildly obsessed with live music, going so far as to even travel first as a merchandise sales assistant and later as a guitar/bass assistent technician with some local bands. I was also in a band when I was in my teenage years, and I can safely say that it was possibly the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. Since then, through health conditions and one thing or another, I’ve had to give up touring and being in bands though it’s really my first love and always will be. I still go to shows in my first life but due to other stuff I only go rarely now compared to once a week a couple of years ago.» View author and full post…

Glam Affair SummerFest ’13 skin is gorgeous. I realize I say this a lot but there aren’t a lot of words to describe Glam skins. Well, I could say…amazing, flawless, beautiful, very pretty, well done, gorgeous makeup, fantastic…etc. You get the idea, right? I love love love this face and the shading that makes her look like she is smack dab in the middle of a hot and balmy summer day. Love it. Those lips, ohhh those lips. Adore the matte look but the gloss has my heart too. This beauty comes in two tones; America and Jamaica. Each skin has five different makeups per skin tone, four different eyebrow color options and the most gorgeous light little sprinkling of perfect freckles.  Truly a beauty.

Hey everyone! Cosmetics Fair 2013 is opening tomorrow and I am here with a few of the awesome makeups you can find there… to start with at least

Firstly we have some gorgoeus TSG Lip Laquers, shown on top of the TSG Baby skin in X tone here, you can see they are deliciously kissable! (You may need to view a bigger picture).   They all come for ALL tones of TSG skin, and all colours come with or without teeth, I did try these over my Belleza skin which is worn throughout the rest of the post, but the lips were too small, so if you aren’t planning on wearing them on top of an actual official TSG skin, you may want to demo!

Next we have some makeups from Nuuna! I have shown one from each set available, in different colours (and some eyeliner).  Each set is stunning and striking, and each very different, as you can see! They all come in ooooodles of colours, including white and black, as well as the popping vivids too.   Nuuna makes such lovely makeups, all of them a little bit out of the norm, which is lovely for fantasy looks or just when you want to stand out from the crowd.» View author and full post…
