World Goth Fair is an annual Second Life event, officially sanctioned by the folks at  World Goth Day to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.  The fair runs from May 15-31 2013 and will feature a variety of designers from around the grid.

What does {MV} have in store for the World Goth Fair?  Well, it just so happens that a little birdie told me that the Isabella Dress would be for offer.   This Lolita style corset dress is satin and lace and comes in 10 colours.

So the World Goth Fair opened up this week and I happened to badger Lokii until she finished her items and showed them too me and I have to say it was almost instant LOVE. Yes RL got in the way and while I had this all done and styled up the night before the fair opened, RL work decided that it wanted all of my attention. So I bring you just a taste of the sexy goth goodies exclusively at this great event.

Maybe I shoudl ramble some about what I’m wearing too… So the outfit collar and boots are all part of one of the outfits MV has brought to the fair, and I have to say Lokii is slowly bringing back an obsession with purple, because she has just the right shade to make me want to hump all her purple stuff. I haven’t felt the need to do that since +DV8+.

So about a month ago I discovered :{MV}: aka Malfean Visions owned by Lokii Violet. I was so excited to find a new goth store with a ton of amazing items. I loved how all her creations intermingled with each other. What I really lusted for were her boots and shoes. I mean this lady makes some sexy shoes and boots. And well since I like to hoard I welcomed them to inventory wholeheartedly.

There are three special outfits set out as exclusive items at WGF. I am going to showcase all of them. And yes this post is going to be picture heavy since I also wanted to showcase the lovely skin by Voshie Paine for la petite morte. Voshie has 6 makeup versions for the ophelia skin line and the 6th makeup version is an exclusive version for WGF.

First up is the Isabella Dress. I chose the color Vitae because it sounded all kinds of exotic to me. Lo and behold it was a beautiful dark red color. I love the lace piping detail on the bodice and the intricate fabric detail. Hello lovelies!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the World Goth Fair 2013. This wonderful charity event benefits the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, which is a UK charity formed in the wake of the death of a beautiful woman, Sophie Lancaster, who was murdered because she dared to be “Goth”.

This charity aims:
•To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.
•To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
•To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from alternative subcultures or Lifestyle and Dress.

Hate crimes such as this remain a problem throughout the world, whether ignorance, generational intolerance or general criminal stupidity are factors the public awareness of these actions needs to be heightened.

I’m on my second to last post of my Seven Days of Memes and today it’s My SL Pet Peeves.  Some of my pet peeves are RL pet peeves but they carry over to SL to an extent.  Before I get into my peeves writing I just want to point out that I have on some awesome goodies from this years upcoming World Goth Fair.  I will be starting my official posting for this shortly but I have started sneaking in previews to my posts, just like todays =)

In no particular order of annoyance, my top 5 SL Pet Peeves are:

FACELIGHTS – Yeah this is probably a given to a lot of people.  I used to be a bitch about it to be honest.  if I was standing in a store or something and all of a sudden I was a deer in the headlights I’d sprout off something like “Holy Bright Facelight Batman” in local chat.  Most of the time the person who was wearing the hideous attachment just ignored me, walked away or TP’d out.  Now however, if I am assaulted by the blinding lights I usually say “Who has the facelight of doom that should have stayed back in 2004?» View author and full post…

Because MV makes me get a hard on for her latex especially her newest release the Widowed Collar I decided to team up with my fellow latex flunky Skyler and do a post abusing the wonderful MV latex.

Sexy Suit + Corset + Boots = Win! And then just for shits and giggles we took advantage of the 50% off sale at cStar and got new skins to play with while we went for the sexy cyber girl vibes we were going for.

I am not normally a fan of cStar’s Heavenly tone for whatever silly reason, but after finding this gem at the sale I really think I was just being silly. Totally rock-able and totally sexy I mean look at that pout! I also found these killer cyber headphone/shades and an adorable shoulder pet that keeps blowing kisses to all my girlfriends… I wonder if I should be worried…

Esta semana Acid Lilly, como cada semana, ha renovado su oferta. Y como cada semana, sigo pensando que mejora un poquito más cada vez. De la colección semanal he querido destacar este vestido mesh de MV, sexy a rabiar, a mis amigos SL les encanta . El vestido, Setian Halter, está disponible en tres tonos: Hazard, de tonos marrones, Suicide, de un púrpura que con este escote casi roza lo sacrílego y Void, que es el precioso tono plateado que he traido hoy. Pero quiero mencionar que también me han gustado mucho otras prendas de esta semana, la pena es que no he tenido tiempo para traerlas. Pero daos prisa, aun teneis todo el día de hoy y de mañana para ir a por ellas.

Una vez me había decidido por este “discreto” escote, tenía que encontrar los complementos para acompañarlo, y pensé en darle el punto vintage que encontraría en la tienda de RKT, así que para allí me fuí, y con el asesoramiento de quien diseña estas joyas, y tras una charla de lo más agradable me decidí por el set Gallathea. So the whole reason this post even came about is someone handing me a notecard about the sale at la petite morte that is so that she can pay for her kitty’s vet bill. The notecard brought tears to my eyes and well I went right over and bought the items and decided that I would spread the word to try and help the poor kitty! Please even if you don’t like what she has out open your heart and if you have some lindens to spare send them her way to help the kitty!

Yay for the kitty face tattoo that made me want to neko out mildly leading to spots EVERYWHERE! Lucky for me some of my favorite stores have spot stuff out in various places that makes it easy on me.  We will start with the pretty side eye tattoos from cStar that are now only available on the marketplace but totally worth going after. And they come in soo many colors it isn’t even funny! Seriously go look at them! Then we have the New collars form Zombie Suicide soo many options and I had to pick just one! Then we have the sexy corset and matching boots from MV that came out awhile back for her cart sale and I think are still lurking around the store somewhere.
