Tasty Merm…um Sushi
You caught me with the catch of the day! Just swimming around to bring you more from The Challenge – Underwater. When deciding what to do instead of just throwing you some random shots of this great skybox…I wanted to do something a little different since I saw other bloggers dressed as mermaids…which is what I had planned to do too. Even bought a mermaid outfit from Fantasy Faire…but other bloggers beat me to it so I needed to do something different…and this was it. lol Scuba diving. \o/
I then went to check out new items at SAKIDE and what did I see but this great sushi baggy tee. I tell you…silliness was meant to be for me! I don’t think the starfish liked it much it grabbed me trying to shake it’s little mer friend loose.

This skybox is circular with really cool textures surrounded with a murky underwater scene to look out at. Lighting your underwater home entry is important…these cute submarine lights do it nicely.
Keeping with the circular theme here…you won’t be able to resist this starfish hammock and octopus side table. Light the seahorse candles for additional ambiance while enjoying a refreshing drink & sushi snack.
%Percent Furniture just released this nifty seltzer bottle which adds bubbly goodness to any drink…not to mention the hiccups I have now.

Love the textures and design of this skybox…ran out of time to decorate but added a couple other things from the hunt….the shelves to break the space up and the wall decor…more notes below.

Remember the days when your mother was yelling at you to turn the tv off and go out to play or get off the phone she wants to use it. Doesn’t seem that long ago does it? I remember we use to have so many types of phones, my mother was a telephone operator for Ma Bell …..pulling those cords in and out of the board to connect people to different lines….yeah…yeah…I’m old. lol But I had rotary phones just like these. I use to play pack man too on the old arcade game…I can hear the music now….and of course we use to zone out on TV on the weekends watching Sunday morning Shirley Temple movies and in the evening the weekly Disney movie. Those were the days….I can hear Edith and Archie singing it now…

Leaves are Fallin’
Leaves are Fallin’ is today’s theme for SL Bloggers Support Inspire Me Initiative…so I took a break from blogging and nested yesterday to prepare since it’s is my favorite time of year. So…started with this Mudhoney house so warm and inviting perfect for this time of year when all is comfy cozy. Then…I saw this bedroom set by Cheeky Pea at Collabor88…and the wheels started turning for my perfect hideaway.
I love early mornings [or sunset]…sitting outside reading, drinking coffee [sunset is good for hot chocolate ], nibbling on sweet goodies and hangin’ out with my bud Winkie [the owl...when he blinks only one eye shuts thus the name]…breathing in the fresh air. I’m in heaven here

Zodiac opens today featuring the sign of Virgo. I enjoyed reading about Virgo traits searching for notes on fashion. Virgos pay a lot of attention to detail, looking neat and polished, even with the most casual outfits. Virgos love simple clothing, and look to natural elements and colors. Nothing flashy or revealing for Virgos!
ZombiePopcorn Brand store started a new rotation that includes items from Duh!, Wasabi Pills, fucifino, elly, cStar Limited, & Sassy!. Items will be available until September 1.
Some additional ZP Brand news beginning September 1, *sniffles*….the next rotation *sniffles*, will be the last round *sobs*. However, the last round will be jammed packed with all/most of the designers contributing for a closing event that is not to be missed! *wipes tears*. I know things can’t stay the same forever but I LOVE ZombiePopcorn and I will miss this group. Hopefully Jenica will do some speed study program and come back to us soon. lol I’m going through withdrawals already and there is still another round.

The Home & Garden Expo opened today and runs until May 28th at 10p SLT. The Expo benefits Relay For Life of Second Life, a fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society. There are 13 sims showcasing the best in home & garden goods as well as a breeders fair.
So along with the Expo…I will squeeze in fashion of course. First this cabana is a great exclusive as is the furniture set that includes the plants. Also the great house just behind me is another wonderful exclusive.
Thought this styling was fitting for a casual day hanging out at home. Blueberry will soon release these great mesh capris…the detail is amazing and they have the cutest curvy tooshie. I’ve added TuttiFruitti’s mesh top from Culture Shock and Vanity Hair’s latest group gift.
