Only crashing saved me from spending all my Lindens in American Bazaar, although I have to admit their clothes are a lot more affordable than I thought so I’ve managed to snag a couple of things and I will be heading back there later because I saw some very cheeky and slightly tarty tops that I want.  Until then let me show you their kind offering for the SAH (suicide awareness hunt) and it’s cute and quality.  A mesh dress shaded with pastel colours and a slighty satin sheen.  A bunched up bootilicious skirt and off the shoulder top.  Pretty darn nice. Almost forgot to mention that there is a couple of hunts going on so even more reason to call in and for the boys I noticed a really good mens selection of clothes.

I know that at this moment there are some amazingly big hunts going on but lets not forget that a lot of them have a message of sadness, education and hope behind them and what represents this more than the Suicide Awareness Hunt.  At this time of year when the Christmas Spirit seems to be foisted on us no matter how we feel it can just make you feel worse.  Not everyone is surrounded by love and safetly or even if they ARE surrounded by love and safety they just can’t feel it.  This is a hard time for a lot of people for a lot of reasons, debt, lonliness, ill health, abuse, but the one thing we all share is WE ARE NOT ALONE!» View author and full post…

Banish to the back door no wonder he looks so sad.

To think I resisted the shagging reindeer, the dead hanging reindeer and even the dance stage where we can all have a dance not around our handbags but a disemboweled Reindeer.

The best clubs in SL have Pixlights club lightening and effects.  They are so good you can walk through the showrooms with them and although they’re all on and flashing there is no lag.  But you don’t have to have a club to own their lights.  So reasonably priced so I picked up my new Crimbo tree light for 90Lds.

How realistic is this laptop? So realistic I actually had to zoom in on it because just for a second I wondered if I could actually click those keys and see if something happened but of course nothing happened but it’s the most realistic laptop I’ve seen in SL.

This wine bench, the laptop, 2 world maps posters, photo frame and picture frame (one day I will actually get around to putting a photo in a photo frame!) are all group gifts. Costs you a 100Lds to join but I’m more than happy with what I’ve got for that.

This shop is called (EoD) End of Daze Design and it’s owned by Icewood Bayn.  He has created furniture which is slightly mannish, slightly retro, unfussy, uncluttered furniture with clean lines and  excellent textures.  Prims and prices aren’t that bad at all.

Special mention to a couple of things.  The most realistic pool table I’ve seen yet. So much detail so few prims and the accessories for it such as the cue holder are just classy.  Faith had to check it out and yes it has a small but good rudie menu.  What I spotted most was a lovely dark dressing table with rezzable accessories, a small menu of hair brushing etc but just lovely.  A set of modern minimalist wood Xmas tree so low primmed and with loads of colour choices so you could rezz a dozen and make a little forest of them and then last but not least a livingroom set which has some great retro seating with a modern touch.  This set  includes an indoor rope seat which even Faith thought was so different.» View author and full post…

Wandering around I came across a small market set up.  This is what the LM says and it’s exactly what you get “Discount and retired items from your favorite Knitting Circle stores. Gacha doubles and other random treasures can also be found at this group rummage sale.” Some great bargains to be had.

First up a very handy shrug (Riddle).  Again I chose the safe brown but at 25Lds a colour you can get as many as you like at that bargain price.

Ana is the name of the top and PaperDoll is the name of the shop.  I chose the cream which is pretty but hasn’t photographed as well as either the pool (blue) or the Mauve would have.  Doesn’t matter because it only looks pale in this photo in SL it’s lovely lacy and creamy.  At 25Lds I’m grabbing the lot.

Grixdale Vintage Frock is the name of this item. More top than Frock.  A sweet creamy full skirted top with lovely satin/ribbon edging and prim bows.  This shop is called Aura.

OK summing up this market its stuffed with BARGAINS and as far as I can tell all NON MESH ones at that. Because as I always say not everyone can handle mesh and maybe even doesn’t want to.» View author and full post…

Honestly if you look closely you can see me having a swing in the middle of all those lights but what the heck..artistic licence rules and I just love the twinkly lights.

As it happens I almost didn’t go for the hunt item because not only do I have swings aplenty but because I know Catnip stocks some great stuff (I know because I have quite a few items and I can recommend their belts for amusement and details) I figured I would swing by (joke geddit) and pick it up.  The swing has a nice flow on it and looks great but an added plus for me is when you jump of it slowly slows down so none of that annoyance trying to click on it to stop.  So this is the Suicide Awareness Hunt item and I say go for it because if you have  a tree and no tree swing then shame on you.

Now this is the “FREAKING SIMPLE” because how simple and yet amazing does this floating clock look?  3 prims and an all so cheap price of 70lds and what an amazing touch for your home or land. I almost missed it! And sadly this is it.  No it’s not a garage or a shed it is in fact a complete home, everything a person would need to live but all shoved in a space the size of a garage or shed.  This is Vooners Japanese Apartments and it is modelled on the real thing.  I have a secret passion in looking how people downsize their homes and lives and yet seem to live full and happy lives so the minute I saw this I had to have it.

At the end of this post I will place a link to YouTube videos and you will see this is exactly how so many people live.  The details are perfect from the tiled entrance hall where tradition is that you remove your outside shoes and put on your indoor shoes.

The kitchen is literally in the hallway.  Small cramped and basic.  The kitchen shown doesn’t come inc in the package but you can fit out your whole home from  Vooner. To the right is the door for the bathroom and yet again modeled to perfection.

And straight into the livingroom/bedroom.

The only storage space which would contain everything from clothes to your bed.

The reason I had to return to the shop to take the photos is because I took some really bad and dark ones and then packed away my home.  Serves me right for not checking but I did like this front shot as you can see how little actually living space you have.» View author and full post…

Happy Birthday to Pink Outfitters and a Woo Hoo for us.  I have a confession, I didn’t buy these outfits just for the Blogg I’ve had them for years and because their colouring and texturing and styling have lasted,  I’m really happy to be able to not only show them off, but tell you  that they and much more are all priced at 50Lds! This is the Builders Jump suit which is a high-waisted pair of pants with straps going over the shoulder.  They come with sculpted trouser bottoms which, although I’m not wearing them because of my long boots, are so WEARABLE and not the yukkie ham leg shape beloved by designers hated by buyers.  A lovely rich chocolate colour, button and buckle details and just so simple, retro and easy wear.

My party dress, The Dreamer,  and yes its non mesh.  As you can imagine after being in SL for quite a few years, I have had many an outfit I have loved and then binned because it has become outdated.  The quality of new items may have made it appear old.  So to still have a dress in my invent means it must be good.  This is a satin dress with vibrant coloured dots, a mesh neck detail (a scarf which I’m not wearing) and a sculpted skirt.» View author and full post…

I have been waiting for this hunt for weeks to start.  I count my blessings that no matter what poop RL has thrown at me I’ve managed to come out stronger, wiser and yes maybe  a little bit sadder, but also with a gratitude of just the plain simple things in life. Such as being able to look at the sky and appreciate the beauty no matter how dreary the day has been. However some are so weighed under with their sadness they cannot raise their eyes off the ground and see how good life can be if only they reach out and ask for help.
We all believe we are strong and nothing like depression, suicidal thoughts or other mental health problems would affect us or those we love – but it DOES! My own dear Mum who was once a stong vital active woman  fell prey to Alzheimer’s, and I watched her become a sad shell of fear and confusion.  Now sadly with the advent of Social Networking sites, people seem to be able to spout venom and bile and those who are not strong enough to turn it off and walk away. They take this poison to their heart, and too many good people make the wrong choice and end the pain in the worst way ever by taking their life.» View author and full post…

When I model an Etchaflesh corset I usually take a front photo and yet always go on about the details on the back so I decided it was time you copped an eyeful.

So now hopefully you can see why I do go on.  Attention to detail and a gut busting tightness is only matched by the PROMO offer.  So even though I now own a whole folder full of Etchaflesh at 99Lds I’ve managed to squeeze a couple of more in.

But of course each week they are expanding their collection so they have tops and bikinis and now brilliantly SKIRTS designed for the retro, corset, kinky lover.  Also a lot of their corsets come with the more “specialised” sizes as standard “flatties” like me all the way up to the “Gazungas” can get a corset.  Loads of demos to try so make sure to grab as many as you can to make sure you get the tightest fit possible.

PurpleMoon Creations has got my vote, and my 60Lds, for this cracker of a bargain.  For your 60Lds you get not only a great pair of shoes but a bag with a holding pose and a great pair of matching retro glasses.

Just had to get a close up of the great glasses, sorry no time for a close up on the shoes but trust me they are the same great quality.  How GOOD that not only do you get the 3 items for the 60Lds offer but you get a bag with and without a pose, the shoes come with both Alpha and invisible prim so non meshers can wear them and then the glasses can even be worn shoved up on your head, dangling from your cleavage or, obviously, worn as normal.  Generous!
PurpleMoon is not over stuffed with mesh clothes, which isn’t such a bad thing as I always say, but what it is stuffed with is high fashioned glamour wear.  Everything from sweeping ball gowns, shimmery body huggers, up do’s and plenty of bling.  If you like to make yourself noticed then this is the shop for you.
