Ronja A-Z: L for Black Latex and Hot Leather

Heee… I’m slowly getting somehwere. Welcome back to another instalment of my little documentation of the classic outfits by Ronja Pera of RDesignS. This all started when I made a little nostalgic tour to Freebie Dungeon last year and had a SL retro moment. The very first instalment in this series can be found here if you want more of an introduction. I have since the last post discovered that Freebie Dungeon has been reduced to a shed… a proud establishment biting the dust.

Today, I’m at L, believe it or not. Since last, I’ve discovered an outfit I’d missed, believe it or not. Fortunately, the name could be squeezed in under today’s letter, believe it or not. Soo… without any further prattle, the letter L for Black Latex and Hot Leather!
Ronja L 1
L for Black Latex, shown with and without the jacket. I don’t have any foot wear that belong to this outfit in any obvious way, so I’m using the boots with the same name, Black Latex, all through with their heavy bling du jour.
Ronja L 2
L for Hot Leather, shown in a couple of different combinations of the content… again with the Black Latex boots.

If you want your own copies of these classics, they can all be found for free on the fourth floor at Freebie Galaxy View author and full post…

Ronja A-Z: K for Kim

Time for Ronja again. I’m slowly working my way through the alphabet, letter by letter, of the classic outfits of Ronja Pera of RDesignS. Today I’ve arrived at K, for which I only have one outfit… but I have it in seven of colour and each of those in a ‘white’ and ‘black’ edition decided by the colour of the trimmings.

Ronja A-Z: K for Kim
Soooo…. let me introduce, K is for Kim… and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim and Kim…. etc etc. Yellow, pink or purple or more, choose your poison! I’m quite obviously wearing the Purple and the Green-Black versions here in a couple of different ways. The boots, of course, have bling. You’ve gotta love Ronja!

Various colours of this outfit is available for free at both Freebie Dungeon and Freebie Galaxy. The poses are mine, and are available in the current round at The RetreatCiss’ Poses.

Until next time… take care and have fun!

Ronja A-Z: J for Jungle and Jane

It’s been some time since, but I’ve not given up the Ronja project. Ronja Pera‘s classic stuff is just too great for that. If you need and intro what it’s all about, please check out the very first post in the series from last year. I’ll just dive straight into it.

Today the letter arrived at is J, J for Jungle and Jane.

Ronja J 1

J stands for Jungle and Jungle Tiger… only the texture differ between them. The main thing that distinguishes from Jane below is that the top might have a chance to stay in place with the Jungle ones, beside that, they seem confusingly similar.

Ronja J 2

J stands for Jane, beside that there’s not too much to say, there’s not too much to cover ^^

The wild makeups is a mixture of stuff from Mock, A:S:S and KOOQLA. All three can be found for nought on the fourth floor among the other Ronja stuff at Freebie Galaxy. Of course she’s still creating and she still has a store RDesignS. The poses are my own.

Love or hate ‘em… Ronja leaves no one un-stirred, that is certain. I usually prattle on a lot so I’ll quitely leave this letter with that.

Until next time, take care and have fun.» View author and full post…

Untitled #Umpteen

It must be a bit boring for a designer to only see their old stuff blogged when they are still creating… especially if it’s stuff that’s been decorating the freebie palaces for years. I am, of course, talking about Ronja Pera whose old designs has achieved a cult status with me and are slowly but surely being documented in this blog.

While finishing the last post, I visited her store to make sure the link was still valid and I saw the group gifts had been changed. Those, most absolutely, deserve a post of their own me thought.  I also picked up a pose stand full of the old ‘classic’ poses… the ones that evokes groans but still are part of the glorious history of fashion in SL. There’s 86 of them! A must to keep and treasure for all eternity.

Anyway… the clothes… Both outfits are from the latest from the regular stock.

Ronja Gift 1

I’m only showing the pants from the ladies’ gift. We have seen this mesh template before, but the texture on these is really delicately done. It’s part of a complete outfit including a just as delicately textured top, jewellery and flats.

Ronja A-Z: I for India and Indians

Yezzz…. Time flies! Anyhow, it’s about time for another dose of Ronja Pera of RDesignS‘ classical outfits. We’ve reached the letter I in the alphabet. Without any of my usual prattle, let’s dive straight into it.

Letter I stands for…

Ronja A-Z- I 1

India with a couple of options how to wear it. Remove boot shafts and the upper, also called vamp apparently, can be worn as a shoe under pants.

Ronja A-Z-I 2

Indian Summer. This outfit has been created with multiples of a piece of North American First Nation jewellery.

Ronja3

Indians in a couple of variations. The Black and White version came with a pair of wings. The boots differ between the two versions as well. Of course all the boots shown here have bling, they wouldn’t be Ronja without it.

Beside this there’s not much to say. All the makeup comes from Mock Cosmetics. Mockie makes beaut stuff and is generous with impulsive group gifts. She’s a brilliant inexpensive source of eye and lip makeup that can be combined in umpteen ways.

India and Indian Summer can both be picked up for free at Freebie Galaxy, fourth floor. Indians I haven’t been able to find out anywhere, they must have been in the lot I received from Ronja directly.

Well, that is it for this time.» View author and full post…

Ronja A-Z: H for Hot Leather

Journey continues…. the letter H in this little tour through Ronja Pera ‘of RdesignS classic outfits. This week is very fast and simple, only one. It might not be one of her more frivolous ones but it’s still unmistakingly 100% Ronja.
There’s not much to say so I’ll just get on with it… H stands for Hot Leather!

RonjaH

If anyone would like this outfit, it can still be found at Freebie Dungeon. I think it comes with a pair of her famous boots, but I’ve chosen to show the shoes with the same name just to get some variation XD
The pose is one of my own and will be available at The Retreat in a couple of days.
Ok, short and sweet. Until next time… :)

Ronja A-Z: F for Fairy

Hello again :)

The letter F in my survey of the classic outfitS by Ronja Pera of RDesigns, which has become a labour of love for me. For more of an intro, if you need it, you can check out the very first post here.

The letter F stands for Fairy, Fairy and Fairy. Even if they’ve sharing the name and are based on the same texture, there’s more than their colour that differs so I’ll present them as three different outfits. None of them came with footwear.

Ronja A-Z: F for Fairy 2

F is for Fairy, Pink Fairy… quite obviously. It’s using an embroidered flower as base and it’s just the colour of it that differ between the three variations.

Ronja A-Z: F for Fairy
F is for Fairy, plain Fairy for this one ^^ Beside the colour, it’s only the length of the two included shirts that’s different from Pink. I enjoy how she worked/works with textures, there’s a lot of imagination evident and looks a lot of fun.

Ronja A-Z: F for Fairy 3

F is for Fairy, White Fairy, which has shoulder attachments rather than wings and yet another version of skirt. This texture is the nicest in my humble opinion, white with a little pink in the stitching.» View author and full post…

Ronja A-Z: E For Egypt and Exotica

*Counts on my fingers* Time for the fifth part of my documentation of the classic outfits by Ronja Pera of RDesignS. A full introduction to this little SL fashion history project can be found in the first instalment, here.

So without any further delays, let’s dive straight into letter E… E for Egypt and Exotica.

Ronja Egypt Black Latex

E stands Egypt Black Angel. As with most of Ronja’s outfits, there’s enough bits and pieces to wear them in a few different ways. Boots have bling, of course.

Ronja Egypt Nights

E stands for Egypt Nights, created with repeats of an egyptian mask.. some with very strategic positioning… Boots are called Semjase and were probably not originally intended for this outfit but they came included.

Ronja Exotica

E stands for Egypt Exotica, the colours of which suits this avatar just excellently. There’s not much to say, it’s based on repeats of what seems to be some belly/tribal dance piece of jewellery. The boots have impressive bling from a row a decorative elements down the back. I’m mentioning this because a) it’s not visible against the white back ground and b) because of it’s placement and organised excessiveness it’s visually very interesting. That’s the kind of stuff you don’t say or talk about when you can’t see it, isn’t it?» View author and full post…

Ronja A-Z: Arriving at D with a Froobatta Tree

It’s slowly happening… fourth part of this little SL fashion history project, Ronja A-Z, which is all about documenting the classic outfits of Ronja Pera of Rdesigns. All of us might not have been wearing her stuff but most will know about them and remember them from their noob days. For more introduction, see the first part.

I was going to have the figure floating against white background as a theme in this series but then I found this Froobatta Tree by Fluke at the new round at The Retreat. Quirky and with 10 poses to choose from, PLUS a poem, it offered some colour to what otherwise would be a monochromatic post.

Without any further bleather:

Ronja A-Z D 1

D is for Dragon, Sexy Dragon with the separate Dragon, Black Dragon Boots… with plenty of bling!

Ronja A-Z D 2

D is for Dream, White Dream, with a couple of alternative ways of putting the stuff together.

Ronja A-Z D 3

Maybe there are shoes or boots that goes with White Dream, but they are not among the things I’ve hoarded.

Ronja A-Z D 4

D is for Dream, Black Dream, in a couple different combinations. Complete with boots.

Ronja A-Z D 5

That’s D. These outfits are still available, for free of course:

Sexy Black Dragon: Freebie Island
Black Dragon Boots: Freebie Galaxy
White Dream: Freebie Dungeon
Black DreamFreebie Island

I’m very grateful to Ronja Pera who has donated a LOT of her old resell gear and for GM Nicolaides for the tree.

Until next time, take care :)

Ronja A-Z: C For Chelsie and Crystal

Time is overdue for the letter C in my little project ‘Ronja A-Z’, documenting the fantastic and now classic outfits of Ronja Pera of RDesigns. If you’re interested, more of an introduction can be found here, at ‘A’ => X.

Since I’ve promised to keep down on the bleather, lets just dive straight into the letter C… As usual, there’s a few different ways to combine the content.

Ronja C Chelsie

C is for Chelsie which is quite complex conceptually. It’s made up of repeats of a silver version of what looks like a classic western tattoo. That’s three layers of meaning, not bad.

This outfit doesn’t seem to be available anywhere… at least I haven’t found it when out and about. However, because of the nature of these outfits I don’t think I would commit any crime if I offered it freely to anyone interested. It’s among the stuff Ronja very kindly passed on to me. If you would like a copy, contact me inworld.

Ronja C Crystal

C stands also for Crystal. I…RONJA… is wearing the red version but this outfit also comes in pink, blue and white. Tattoos and nails are included.

This outfit, and colour variations, can be found in the Freebie Dungeon and Freebie Galaxy (4th floor).» View author and full post…
