We just never know…
I am sure by now that you have seen the destruction and devastation left by the powerful tornado that wiped out homes, businesses and schools in Oklahoma. My heart goes out to the people there and anyone else who was affected by this tragedy. It’s so easy to be removed emotionally by these events when it is not happening to you personally or it’s in another part of the world. For instance on the same day there was car bombings that killed many in Iraq. My heart goes out to the people there too. Though in this day and age it seems these types of things are happening more frequently that we tend to just shrug it off and move to the next story. It’s sad to think that as a society we have become this detached.
Though I hope you take the time to reflect and really be mindful and appreciate and show your love to those you hold dear. Even if I wish these events didn’t happen, they do serve as a reminder to not take the life I have been given, even if not perfect, for granted and truly appreciate those people be it family and friends in my life or the common stranger that might just be passing by.» View author and full post…
