Not a floral meringue in sight…thank goodness

I’ve been a bridesmaid several times over in real life and in SL.  I’ve always been curious as to why my girlfriends want to dress me as some sort of fairy on acid! (Some of the dresses were just too hideous to even look back on and laugh ) Whyyy do they do that? , when nowadays you find such glorious frocks for your maids. I don’t often wear “gowns” but I do feel that a traditional type one for a wedding is lovely, and I really do enjoy wearing them. If only the Brides had been to SF Design ! Above is the new Ariadne Bridesmaid outfit. Its sleek and non – fussy, no over abundance of frills or netting or puffiness …it’s just classy and feminine. I loved wearing it today, and would definitely make it a keeper if it was my maids dress.

Beautiful details around the waist and a dipped back that’s not too low (I’m not a big fan of the buttocks revealed style of gown). It has an almost innocent air about it, which I think is perfect for a wedding. Ariadne is a complete outfit, meaning that not only do you get the mesh dress, but also the most stunning floral circlet to wear in your hair…

It’s just a jump to the left….

Richard O’Brien is a bit of a pet love of mine.  I am still planning a proper homage to Riff Raff from Rocky Horror, having sort of done Frank-n-Furter previously.  Yes I know that the shape isn’t even close, but I wanted to show it as it’s from the MOH3 hunt starting in a few days, as are the pants.

When I saw this leopard skin jacket from SF Design at the Menswear Fashion Week event, it set me off down this path…..note the sim is a rather fun recreation of the laboratory from Rocky Horror.  People outside the UK may not know the Crystal Maze TV show and that he wore a jacket of similar pattern on it.  I am a spod.

Vegas Style

A few looks today mostly from Menswear Fashion Week, with a little Fantasy Faire thrown in for good measure. MWFW brings together a large number of designers focused on menswear with fashion shows and new releases for the event (ends Apr 27). The theme is Las Vegas this year, which means casual, stylish clothing with a rakish twist – like with SF Design‘s new Lounge Lizard jacket, which has a texture change hud with six cool motifs (sale price of just 100l for the duration of the event). I also quite like American Bazaar‘s open shirt/tee combination, available in various colors and with different tee options. It looks great with BeUp!’s new jeans and you’ll feel like money wearing it.

Las Vegas is all about fantasy and 22769/Bauwerk‘s Royal Room skybox from Fantasy Faire would fit right in there. It’s Mesh with marble texturing and has a master suite & main living area suitable for high rollers. You can check out 22769′s numerous fashion releases for Fantasy Faire through the 28th.

The Next Big Event

She knows she won’t be seeing me for a while as the Menswear Fashion Week(MWFW) is starting in a few hours, lol. 
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the new releases that sf design, Dura and Jeepers are offering. 
Important:The organizers ask you to please pick up their MWFW 2013 Attendee Packagefrom the vendor at the landing point! It includes a full body alpha so that you can take off all of your HUDs, clothes and body parts and will be invisible. It also gives you a selection of three items to wear instead: Walk around dressed as one of the icons of this event: a Bow Tie, a Bowler Hat or a Moustache! It’s going to be fun and you’ll help reduce lag for everybody!
