Happy Birthday Gemini! (And you, too, Maci! vv)

I’ve been itching for the new round of Zodiac to open up and I am so glad it *finally* did! I love the colors associated with this round and the blues and purples are so fun to play around with. I am slowly growing in my home decor side of things and when it comes to pergolas or gazebos and outdoor furniture of any kind, I am hooked. It was love at first sight with this gorgeous arbor from Solange. It features color changing drape, flowerpot and swirly decor. Lame has also released a new outdoorsy rocking chair and table set, which perfectly suits this arbor. It comes in four wood textures, color changing pillow and blanket and a menu fully loaded with 47 single and couples poses.

Somnia has released this simple and sweet Double Intensity sweater dress for Gemini. It comes in eight fabulous solid colors, as well as a floral pack. I love that it is short enough to wear with leggings, but also converts perfectly to a great dress for the summer months. Hello again my lovelies!  In just a few hours the newest round of Zodiac will open it’s doors!  This one is definitely my favorite round,  because I happen to be a Gemini!  With my birthday just a few days away (May 25th) I am so excited to see all of the awesome things this round of Zodiac holds!

One of those things being this awesome Gemini Arbor from Solange.  I couldn’t resist putting out this beautiful Mesh Arbor in the yard to hang out under today.  The detail is absolutely fabulous.   I put out a couple of random things from Collabor88 too (see bottom for credits),  and my cute bunny!

How could I not grab these super adorable Soliel Moon Socks from LouLou&Co?  They come in three colors,  and each color has two patterns.  My being the dork that I am had to wear two different patterns!  I’m also wearing the awesome Gemini Constellation Necklace from Noodles!  It comes in 4 different pretty colors,  all of which are amazing!

It’s a true fact but it wasn’t until recently that I really paid much attention to what exactly being an Aries meant.  I was surprised to find out I am of the sun sign, I’m a leader and I tend to not get things done while starting many things.  Apparently, I’m blunt and to the point and will take on just about anyone not to mention having a competitive streak a mile wide.  It kinda explains a lot, except that part about being competitive, of which I am most certainly not.  I’m also not very me oriented (although that might be the result of having children because I used to be very me oriented…as in ‘me needs more sleep’ or ‘me needs more coffee’).   I do enjoy getting things going but I have a horrible habit of not sticking around until the end and I do adore a good day of procrastination (like right now, should be cleaning my house…I started with the kitchen and then got side tracked and came to blog).  So yup, I would say an Aries is what I am, especially since I need sun to survive with not having sun results in barely functional.   Who knew?   Perception obviously did because she made this beautiful Corset for the Aries Zodiac round that I absolutely adore.   Along with this amazing neck corset that caters to my darker side (more after the cut with rides in the credits)

That’s right, I have finally reached 100 posts on my blog! It was tricky in the beginning and I’ve learned a lot along the way. I have definately been limited by how much I can blog because of my work schedule and other real life commitments. It just makes me wonder where I’ll be at 200 and 300 posts or more.

I saved something special and a little unusual for my 100th post. I’ve been hearing and reading a lot about the opening of the new Petites Kingdom courteousy of Strawberry Singh and Dani Riaxik. I had always debated the purchase of a petite avatar and their posts on this outstanding sim swayed me! I wanted to explore such a beautiful place in petite form and see everything the way it was meant to be seen. The Petites Kingdom is your one stop shopping place for all things petite related from clothes and accessories to furniture and fun. There are 5 floating islands to explore, each themed differently.

Along with great shopping, a sim wide hunt is going on until October 20th. You are looking for blue crystals hidden throughout the sim. There are some awesome gifts to find like this adorable Garden of Light Alcove from Mole’s End, perfect for your petiteness to rest on.

I have been sitting on this for a while, but one of my favorite stores of all time, as well as a dear friend, finally got accepted to create Petite Avatars. Charlie, of De La Soul, offered these fantastic UnSeelie Petites, Lumi for the women and Lumio for the men, as his opening salvo, but do believe me when I say this is just the beginning; I know he already has plans for a line of Seelie, and hopefully I can persuade him to release some of his standard skins in petite as well. You can find them for sale here in the Petite Kingdom, which is also ground zero for a glorious petite hunt. He’s also promised he’ll be releasing his petite skins full sized, so we really have a lot to look forward to. I honestly had a hard time deciding which to show, but Midnight Blue is one of my favorite shades of all time and I love how the luminescence – which this skin is named for – looks over this dark, rich tone. Today I’m showing a bit of leafy love, I even got up and out of bed early to do a post, like the trooper I am! (or idiot, you decide)

Leafy is a store I do have skins from, and I love dearly, I don’t know why I don’t wear them more often, but I think after seeing myself in these gorgeous fantasy skins, I will be doing so!  Sapphire Midnight and Dusk are flanking the VIP group gift Amethyst – Paled Blue in the picture below, three very different, and very gorgeous fantasy coloured skins, the shading on the body is lovely, and isn’t lost on the darker tones, and as you can see from the middle skin compared to the outside ones, there is a cleavage option too!

The bikini I am wearing is also from Solange for Zodiac – Libra this month, it’s a really stunning lil number with prim corsages, perfect for this fantasy look, all hair show is NEW Ploom, there were four styles out just a couple days ago and all of them beautiful, mesh numbers, choose from a high pony to a short updo, or 2 versions of a longer style!

Yay! The new round of Zodiac started on Saturday! I know this is only the 3rd cycle, but I really think this is the best one yet!

I don’t blog a ton of lingerie in here because I’m shy [and because I rarely ever buy it], but the Balance lingerie from Solange for Zodiac is so pretty! I’ve been dancing around to make the little tassels wave ever since I put it on.

And how cute are the Morning Light Cupboard Beds from Trompe Loeil for FAIR?? They come in different colors and can be styled in sooo many ways, as I’m sure you’ve seen other bloggers do recently. Love!

I guess I should go put some pants on now.
