Back to the Paint.

I spent most of the day painting. It has been awhile.

I am not sure why I have not painted in awhile but it was nice today to be able to just turn everything off, have some quiet time and get lost in the canvas and the colours.

I had forgotten how incredibly talented my fingers are. I think I was really underappreciated in Kindergarten.

Not Playing The Game

Glo-Mart has several great group gifts laid out right now(there’s no join fee). One of them is this intriguing unisex mesh hoodie to celebrate the store owner’s rez-day. It simply screams to be explored. (There are also some worthwhile Lucky Boards now, if you’re interested in such.)
I won’t bore you with my meandering thoughts that led me to the ‘concept’ of this post. It would require an essay and this is not the place for that… hmm… Well, not today anyway ^^ To jump straight into the deep, I wanted to create something that couldn’t easily be labeled, something from another cultural frame work with different values and ignore our rather narrow definitions of attractiveness. Clear as mud?

I’ve deleted the usual facial close up, however. One problem with trying to create something outside your own cultural values is that you can’t say if you’ve succeeded or not, it simply looks too weird

The heebie-jeebies got me. You can sort of get the idea from afar anyway. At least this makes the credit list short and snazzy.
