With all of the photoshopping and windlighting and fancy things we bloggers do to pictures, it’s easy to forget that this isn’t the usual SL’ers experience. Some people come onto the grid and don’t even know HOW to change the lights. Personally, I remember someone teaching me how to make the sun come back as being a brilliant day. I got lamps for my SL house just FOR WHEN IT WAS DARK. I literally didn’t know what else to do.

So when I walked outside into the park near my house, in default lighting, I had this moment of realizing WOW that’s what this just looks like, without anything fancy, with nothing taxing the old graphics card – my setting was HIGH not ultra, and just the default region windlight.

It’s a testament to the quality of what I’m wearing I think, that everything skin, dress, hair etc doesn’t NEED a quick PS touch up to look pretty. If you buy these things, this is what you’re getting, without fail. No worry that I’ve changed the colors or the shape with little tweaks here or there to hide imperfections.

So, it dawned on me a few days ago that my blog must be nearly One.Whole.Year old. I was wrong. It’s already past that milestone! I wrote my first post on May 3, 2012! I can’t believe it’s already been a year. I’ll be honest. When I started this project, I really didn’t expect to last more than a couple of months. I figured I’d get bored. On the contrary, I love it far, far more than I could ever have imagined. I get to be creative in ways that were never really options for me before SL, and I really just enjoy it so much!

I’m not the only one celebrating… FaMESHed just marked its first birthday, too! I was about as shocked by that as I was to realize my blog had turned one! It’s like the year just blew past us. I guess it’s true what they say about time and having fun!

So, to celebrate these occasions, I donned some of the awesome items available at FaMESHed’s birthday round. Definitely check it out before it ends… there’s so much awesome to be had! Morning Lovelies! <3

So, a new round of Zodiac opened up on April 20th. This time its all about Taurus.

The first thing that caught my eye at this round was the Bullseye dress by SYSY’s. It fits so well, and comes in six great colors. I paired the dress with the updated Lulu Stiletto addon’s that Slink put out that you can use with their medium mesh feet.

The pictures were taken in a great new pose prop by W. Winx & Flair. The Change dressing room pose prop comes in two versions: Chic and Funk. Each one comes with texture change options and six poses. This round My Attic runs until April 30th.

Hello again my lovlies!  It’s Zodiac time again,  and I am a day late to the game!  Oh well,  it happens and I have a fabulous outfit to show you,  that should make up for my lateness (I hope)!

This dress…. Seriously,  I adore it.  It’s the BullsEye Dress from SySy’s and it comes in 6 awesome colors!  I think I look pretty hot in the dress,  and apparently Mr. Pervy McStegosaurus behind me was checking out my bum.

Of course what is an outfit without accessories?  *LOULOU&CO* came through with the perfect accessories for this dress!  The Libertad Horns and the Andorra Necklace (a collaboration with Virtual Insanity) match perfectly!

Oh and lets not forget the FABULOUS,  yes fabulous poses from !bang.  I’m using the Taurus Poses,  but there is another pose pack from them that is equally as awesome!  There are 5 poses in each mini pack,  and both are must haves.
