Just a sweet little conservative outfit, midnight blue, somewhere between chic and business appropriate. I don’t wear dark blue much, but it’s a good choice for the office.

Some interesting textures: the dark skirt has paisley panels in front and back. I wanted more detail, so I layered in some floral textured stockings.

Yesterday afternoon, while taking a cat nap (with my cat Starlight, who followed me home from a bar), we were both awakened by a popping sound, the kind you get when you receive something in your inventory. A gift. This one was from Sway Dench, who as many of you know is a well known designer and creator facing a health challenge. There had been a recent in-world event, Together for Sway, to help her out in this time of need. I went to the event several times, hung out, listened to music, bought some really cool stuff, met some great SL friends, and otherwise enjoyed myself. Yet here was Sway, as gracious and as wonderful as ever, thanking me and everyone else who was either a part of the event or just bought something there. Sway, it is us who thank you for the magnificent creations you have given us over the years. You are the gift.

There’s only two more days left to get your goodies at Together for Sway so if you haven’t been, please go already! That’s an order! Dutchie has this fun mesh lamp post at the event with nine PG couples animations. This animation works with me on my own but don’t hesitate to grab a guy or girl and try them out for yourself. There is also an adult version at the main store with forty animations and two sequences for those of you who like to get a little more raunchy. I can’t help but think of the lamp post in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe when I rezzed this on my land. Although I’m certainly no Lucy waiting for Mr. Tumnus.

I love it when designers come together for a good cause in Second Life. First and foremost, I love it because they are pooling their creations for a good cause. Secondly, I love it because with all those great, kind designers in one place, you can do some serious shopping and know you’re supporting the cause as well! The good cause I’m referring to today is Together for Sway, an event put together in aid of Sway Dench.

Many designers have supplied original items for this event and 100% of the sales are being given as donations. The item I’m showing you guys from this event comes from FATEwear: the ‘Sidney’. It is a mesh v-neck sweater, simple but oh-so good-looking.

Sidney fits like a dream and comes with five different sizes of the mesh to help with that, it also comes in a range of fantastic colours, you will definitely be able to find something to your liking.
