New releases make me happy
Earlier this week, ColdLogic and Tutti Frutti released new lovely spring stuff. I made two quick looks, because I entered a new “I don’t have time” phase, so I’ll just let the photo speak. It’s nearly christmas, a time of glitter and sparkles and the colour red and gold and silver and ALL that good stuff.
Out at My Attic atm are these gorgeous gold sparkly jeans from Tutti Frutti! They are such a nice fit and the texturing of the lil sparkles/sequins just gives you that gorgeous Christmas boost! These are actually some of my fave jeans and I think I’ll be scooting on over to Tutti Frutti to top up my mesh jean collection, they have such a wide range of textures and styles, all bright and beautiful! To top off the sparkly look I put on my Epic Kawaii Glitter Glam Kicks in Gold! These mesh bad boys are SO cute that you might want to die, they come with additional “bling” too, actual sparkies! CUTE! Sakide have a couple of Merry Christmas Sweaters out, I popped my red one on and thought yesssssss, my look is nearly complete, so I finished off with one of the 12 Days of Christmas Ploom hairs, my Belleza Noel skin from FLF and Izzies Glitter Nails… I still didn’t feel completely right so I popped on over to Insufferable Dastard and picked up some new eyes and found this cute lipstick set!» View author and full post…
Sunday Hair Fest!
Okkk so today is lazy dayyy usually but i’ve been out in RL all dayyyyy, so today’s blog post is mainly concentrating on hair, with a few bits thrown around!
Three new hairs from Truth! 2 are non meshified and one is rigged. This is Briony, Siri and Azrea! All beautiful hairs in their own right and three very different styles from Mr H, an voluminous updo, a sleek over the shoulder longer style, and a shaggy midlength! I think Azrea might be my fav, despite it being non mesh.. see… we love non mesh too! The skins I am wearing in the pics are all Glam Affair’s C88 skins! VERY pretty, as usual! The dress is the Lazy Sunday special from The Plastik, well one of three. Make sure you check them out.
Ploom has 2 new gorgeous babies out. This is Smash and Majiya! Sometimes I wonder where people come up with these names, LOVE them!!! Both are rigged mesh and both are stunning! Smash is a bit more on the chic side, would look perfect casual or smart… Majiya is a bit more on the fun side! Perspective
I kinda feel that my photos are looking more or less the same these days so I needed to try something new. While that’s usually complicated and time consuming, sometimes it can be as easy as using a keyboard combo! And that’s where Ctrl+8 comes in. I use Ctrl+0 a lot, to zoom in, but rarely use the opposite because it has the bad habit of deforming the avatar. In this case, however, I loved the perspective that the zoom out feature gave this photo:
(Also, it made editing useless, so less work for me!)
And now it’s time to brag a bit! I am the lucky winner of the Je Suis anniversary photo contest (you can see my entry here) so I went there to spend my prize today. One of the sets that was missing from my inventory was this domino necklace and bangles – color change and customizable, as most of the Je Suis jewelry – so I had to show it off.

A Preview of SL9B
Second Life’s 9th birthday celebration opens on June 18th, just a week away. Gidge and I, along with some of our friends are working our pixel fingers to the bone preparing all sorts of fun tutorials about SL photography and blogging. Just to give you a preview of what’s to come, the pictures in this post are all unedited, raw shots direct from Second Life. The only thing that has been done is that they have been cropped.
