As always with the MadPea hunts I had an absolute blast with this one. Some of those envelopes were really tricky to find, but that’s part of what makes it so much fun! So long as you read the information from the HUD carefully all the help you need to find them is there. If you’re still stuck though, there are always MadPeas in the communal pod (or group chat as others might call it) that will be more than willing to lend a hand.

There are some absolutely amazing prizes this time around from clothes, jewelry and tattoos right across the board to skyboxes and things to fill them with. I’ve done my best to show you a selection of the different items you’ll be rewarded with at the end of the hunt.

As far as the clothing goes I’m in a bit of a mish mash of goodies. I have the “Do not Disturb” mesh hoodie from +REDRUM+ which is one of several items from them. On my bottom half are jeans belonging to the ‘Evidence’ outfit on offer from Just Because and right at the bottom are chucks with attached legwarmers from Death Row Designs.

The pose I’m using is one of the “Terror poses” offered by Image Essentials» View author and full post… as their hunt prize.

I’ve been inspired to update my profile picture for the first time in a while. This inspiration came about when my good friend Ellie asked me if I would make a profile picture for her. I was honoured that she’d even ask because I’m not the best at these kinda things by a long shot though I do have fun trying.

We found a really interesting graffiti covered wall which is very much in keeping with both of our styles. Ellie struck a pose in front of it and I began snapping away. We tried out a couple of different poses and I sifted through goodness knows how many windlight settings to see which of them would help me create something that I hoped Ellie would like.

I loved the wall Ellie posed in front of so much that I thought I’d use the same spot to make one for myself while trying to make them different at the same time, which I think I managed to achieve. I’m really happy with how all the pictures turned out, though I think I like the top picture of Ellie slightly more than the other one for some reason.

So this isn’t just a post filled with rambles I’ll let you know that you can find out what I am wearing in my previous post and though I’m not sure where Ellie’s skirt is from I know for sure that her top is the Nylon Vest and shirts from +grasp+» View author and full post….

From the first to the last day of October there is a sim wide hunt running at the home of Death Row Designs. There are 24 prizes in total with all stores around the sim participating.

Seven of the prizes come from DrD and include exclusive mesh items, boots and four complete avatars – one of which I’ve yet to find. I’ll be going back soon, sledge hammer in hand, to smash some more pumpkins and hopefully discover more goodies among the decoys.

Or perhaps there is an axe wielding maniac on the loose who just happens to lop your head off with one swipe of his rusty old weapon. You’re gonna need a replacement!

The organised chaos that is my inventory reached a point where even I couldn’t find things in the hodge-podge of folders inside folders so I decided it was about time to have a clear out. It’s an incredibly time consuming and tedious task as I am sure you are aware, but every now and again it’s necessary as I seem to be unable to file things away neatly when I pick them up.

I spent a while trying things on, chucking things away, putting things in places where I’ll be able to find them again and discovering things I had long forgotten I even had. One such thing was a shape I created years ago to use on an avatar long before Kooky had even been thought about. I put it on, curious as to whether I could find a skin that would suit it. I came across “Thyia  vampire  gothic skin” from Death row Designs which seemed like a great match for something a little more dark in nature. With Halloween soon to be upon us I decided to build a more complete look around it.
