So.. I was a little slow this week with Disneybound.. but.. don’t hate on me! I’ve been through a lot this week, that, and it’s partner’s week for Disneybound! Aladdin and Jasmine. I love this movie, one of the ones that I used to watch in repeat when I was a kid. You know.. when we still had the bulky VHS, and would play, rewind like a million and one times. Yup. That was me, singing along, and yelling at Jafar. And cry with the Genie.. Ah childhood, how I miss thee. So.. of course I had to get my Aladdin, it wasn’t an option to have anything but the magic carpet ride. Nope. So I nagged one of my best friends, James Matfield into doing this shoot with me, and the results.. well, I love them. Through a couple of days of planning and trying to get free time together, we finally did it! I hope you like this week’s Disneybound challenge, I know I can’t wait for next week. And Natalee.. I’m still waiting for something to do with Sleeping Beauty. I swear I’m about to throw a major fit here, woman!

Yay! New house. I’ve come out of my shell a lot lately, thanks to Plurk, and I met some wonderful people, and to all of you that I’ve met <3. I started this journey of blogging in order to meet new people, share ideas, and broaden the fun in Second Life that I can have, as well as trying to learn how to photoshop. I’m still learning, and I’ve met some wonderful people. To all of you, thanks! You’ve made this journey possible, and amazing.

So.. new stuff.. the boots are from R3VOLT, and they’re awesome! I love the legwarmers fad that is going around, and the cute little buttons at the side.. Just love the design, and the construction of them, very well done. I also am wearing an older release from Dollle, the micro skirt, and i paired it off to go for a playful cute look with whippet and bucket tank top, which is only 50L, and an old release from fri.day, like.. way old, which is for sale in the back of the store. Old, and not mesh, but still adorable!

Seems like I’m back, baby. And oh, how good it feels to be back! So.. since I feel like I’ve really been neglecting this while recovering, and dealing with rl, I’m going to probably be posting a lot, which I guess is good news for people like me that enjoy getting styling ideas. Right? I hope so. I guess with fashion, my number one rule is styling. So.. I wanted to created a kind of rocker outfit to go with the new R3volt military boots that are up for grabs, and I decided to also use one of their laced skirts, which have a cool lacing to them at the side. I decided to grab some old half leather leggings that screamed rock to me, and a rockabilly styled jacket from Mon Tissu, add an accent piece for a necklace, my choice was the elephant necklace from League, and some sunglasses, and…. Tadah!

First of all, I do have to apologize for the lack of blog entries lately. It’s still being one of those things where it’s raining like hell, and my glass is overflowing. For as much as I love to blog and share my opinions in SL fashion, my mind is not fully committed at the moment. With the loss of a family member, and two major illnesses in my family, I’m struggling to be able to cope with it all. My time in SL is more devoted to attempting to forget my problems, than focusing on something like this. It’s not that I’m going to stop blogging. No, I love it. It’s just.. my lapses of when I’m able to concentrate enough to get the words out as I mean them are few. Please forgive me.

With that said. I do wish I had music for a boyfriend. Then things maybe wouldn’t be as complicated. Or living in a fairy tale world. Make believe with happy endings. I hope I’m not the only one that feels that way.

Truer words have never been spoken. If you love something, you have to go for it. Full throttle. Don’t stop. Fight. Right now with current going ons in my SL, the song has been resonating through my mind. If you love something, don’t let it go. Fight. Love is a battle field. I bet you if the person that I wrote this about reads it, they will totally flip out and IM me about it. Ha.

But.. my battlefield at this moment is fashion. One of my biggest loves, and truest passions. We’ll start with Truth. Truth Hawks single handedly might be the biggest reason for me going broke. I mean, I know I don’t need new hair, I have plenty old hair. But damn it! Every week he comes up with a new release, and every week I’m drooling. The man can’t do any wrong. And braids! Come on guys! Braids. Two of them. Simple, nothing fancy. I’ve been begging for this for a long time. Thanks! Still upset about the constant loss of linden to your hairs, but.. I’m soooo happy at this new release!

Who doesn’t love train rides? And train rides just.. put me way back to the Jazz era.. and who else is best for a classy Jazz song than Louis Armstrong? I just want to sit back now with a whiskey as I sit back in the train and watch the scenery go by.

So.. Second blog post for today.. that hasn’t been done in a while! But.. I did get inspired by a new release by Insatiable Fashions. Simple black top.. so well constructed, so simple, and with one of my favorite words on it. Amour. Love. Such a simple word, and yet so powerful. It can make people melt. And it can frighten some. Is it any wonder than this lovely little shirt made me fall in love so? It’ll be available in the Black Market soon, so keep your eye out for it, because even in all its simplicity, it’s too cute to just pass out on.
